"Long ago...at this very campsite, eight fourteen year old girls were telling ghost stories. It was a dark and stormy night, and the power went out, so the girls sat silently in the dark....Just when one of the girls went to turn on the light, a ghost grabbed her...and got the others too.." Jordan said. We all laid on our beds blankly. Jordan has never been good at telling ghost stories.
"Wow. That was the lamest ghost story ever told." Ariana said. She's one of Jordan's closest friends, so she can say things like that. We joked around and laughed for a while, until we heard scratching sounds from outside the cabin.
"Shh...do you hear that?" Mariana asked.
"What?" Asked Candy.
"That!" Bump Bump.....Scratch..... Sure enough, there were mysterious noises coming from outside.
"Let's check it out!" Candy said. Maybe it was just girls from the other cabin messing with us. Maybe Gabby P. was just trying to freak us out. Yeah, it's just that. But if it's just that, then why do I feel this pit in my stomach, and a bit of terror?
