Drowning
You make my heart beat like the rain
Surround me
Hold me deep beneath your weight
...Lou's POV
"What the hell," I say almost dropping my bag onto the floor as the key tumbled out of my left hand causing all of their faces to turn to mine.
"Hey," one with light brown fuzzy hair says from his position on the couch, a curly-haired boy right across from him as he tries to push his legs off the couch for more room.
There is the one from the elevator with Daniel as well who is trying to fix the tv and looks like he's trying to find something from the cabinets underneath it. The mature guy and who seems to be older one is holding two glasses of water, handing one to Daniel, who's standing to my left diagonally.
"Care to explain yourself?" I look at Daniel, watching his fingers tap against the clear glass as his orbs stare at mine.
"We're just having fun. Live a little while Kayla's at her parent's house," Daniel smiles without his teeth at me and I shake my head picking up the key from the floor.
"Why can't you all have fun in your apartment?" I ask annoyed, walking into the kitchen area towards my room, them all following closely behind Daniel right beside me still holding his glass without taking a sip from the cool liquid.
"It's more fun," the blonde-haired one says as I open the door to my room setting my bag down on my dresser along with my keys as I close the door, shoving my phone in my pocket then going into the kitchen for food.
"What are your names?" I ask grabbing a bag of barbecue chips watching Daniel roll his eyes at my question.
"Corbyn Besson."
"Jack Avery."
"Jonah Marais."
"Zach Herron."
"Daniel Seavey." Daniel chips in as I sit on top of the counter watching him as he sets his glass down on the bar counter next to me.
"And what exactly are you guys planning on doing here?" I ask opening the bag of chips and holding it in my lap.
"Just hanging. Probably gonna play some games on the tv." Corbyn says as he walks into the main room Zach Jonah and Jack follow shortly behind. They all have very different styles and somehow they mix in a way.
"What do you think you're doing?" Daniel asks me as I try to get up to follow them but his hands push on the top of my legs preventing me from hopping off the tabletop.
"Having fun, live a little Seavey," I smirk at him and he removes his cold hands from my thighs. Letting me jump down, almost hitting his chest when I stand up straight against him. He pushes me back, toppling over me as I feel the dip in my back hit the edge of the counter.
"Don't mock me, Louise," he rasps almost snarling as he pins his hands down on either side of the counter trapping me in his presence while my chips are behind me resting on the counter, as I wish I would've stayed like that too.
"It's Lou," I have the audacity to say as I push his shoulders back but he doesn't budge so instead I grab his glass of water. I take a sip, him still watching as I set it down.
