Let's take our time tonight, girl
Above us all the stars are watchin'
There's no place I'd rather be in this world
Your eyes are where I'm lost in
Underneath the chandelier
We're dancin' all alone
There's no reason to hide
What we're feelin' inside
Right now

Lou's POV
"So we'll all meet back at the hotel room and get room service, pass out on the couch watching a movie!" Christina informs me while she puts her gloves on. Corbyn sits on the bed tying his shoes about ready to leave as well.
Christina has been dreaming of the day she gets to see the ball drop. I have a feeling 2019 will be the downfall of everything but a new year is always a new start.
"That sounds great! Daniel is getting ready to leave for his night club celebration for his uncle's company and I will be getting ready for my mother's promotion for her job at a party. Both Daniel and I are gonna be so hoarse tonight!" I laugh before saying goodbye to both of my friends and closing the door only to be pushed against it.
"Hi," I giggle when Daniel smiles and leans down to kiss me. His pecks lead all the way down my neck creating my breathing to increase and shivers running down my spine.
"I'm sad," he frowns meeting my eye level letting his nose brush over mine. His blue eyes are always so alluring about him. The electric deep ocean swirling. The specks of white lines like the seafoam produced from waves.
I rub my hands up and down his bare arms, "Why?"
He pecks my lips letting his words out in between each kiss, "I won't get my New Years' kiss with you."
I let my hands cup his face, "I know, trust me I'm not exactly in the mood to be singing with a random guy. High school musical is not my vibe for the night," I chuckle and so does he.
"I need to get ready," I trail my fingers against his bare chest. The white cotton undershirt button low exposing the top of his abdomen as usual. Daniel looks down at my hands, his hair falling to the right side of his face. I hadn't even realized how long his hair got.
"I know," he pouts before allowing me freedom from being against him and the door. That situation happens too much between us. I'm always pinned against a wall, door, or even the kitchen island. Even though I'd go back and repeat all of the times that has happened.
Daniel has changed so much over the few months we've known each other. He took my advice upon seeing a therapist which surprised me. I'm glad he did. It seems to be helping him work out what's on his mind. Obviously, Daniel still is struggling to express his feelings towards me. He intends on showing me because he thinks it's the only way he knows how. We both have claimed we loved each other since the day at the Perennial Cafe but we have never said those three words to each other. I think part of the reason is that he doesn't feel ready to admit it. Not that I have a problem. He has done so much and I'm proud.
After putting on my dress, finishing up my makeup, and curling my hair I'm ready to leave. I slip on my shoes and grab my small pocketbook.
"I got an Uber for us both," Daniel sighs sitting next to me running a hand through his platinum blonde hair to the right side of his face, "What's the address of the place you are going to?"
"It's like right down the road next to Whole Foods," I sigh standing up looking in the mirror at my body. The golden beige silk dress lining with my figure matching with my heels.
Next thing I know Daniel's leaning against my shoulder moaning, yes and kissing my shoulder and cheek.
"What?" I ask laughing at his playful actions.
