Even though that's what I wanna do (What I wanna do)

Lou's POV

Today is Monday. The first day of college. I woke up an hour ago which was my extra hour just in case if I woke up late. It's seven now and my classes don't start until eight-thirty. I got up at six and made breakfast and got ready jamming out to my music in the bathroom while taking a shower.

I paired a white ribbed long sleeve top with a blue jean skirt. My Nike airs are dirty but they'll have to do. I rarely wear skirts either but this outfit looks cute...but then again who am I trying to impress.

I plan to stop by Dunkin Donuts to grab myself an iced vanilla latte and head straight to class but my breath might smell...but yet again who am I trying to impress. I might have to skip out on coffee and just put a mint in my mouth and head to class.

I can wait a bit since I have about still an hour until I should leave. My dad always tells me to get there fifteen minutes early. I guess I could organize my stuff again or head downstairs and wait in the lobby.

I grab my bag and pull it over my back then turn to the door, making sure I have my keys and phone when I walk out of it. I head for the elevator and see Daniel waiting for one to come by as well.

He's not even on this floor?

I ignore him when the door opens and I step in, Daniel too as he leans over to press floor one and the same time I do. His finger touching and applying pressure right on top of mine. I shake my thoughts away and draw my finger back. I look down and my feet and begin to pick on the hem of my skirt.

We haven't said anything and when the door finally opens I rush out as quickly as possible and head for the lobby wanting to find a seat. When I spot Jake and his posse I think to myself quickly as I walk still looking at them.

I can either head straight to my car like nothings happening or take a seat and be bothered...

I'm going with option one.

I take a glance at them again and Jake's green eyes glow into mine and I look away again and before I can reach the door he's calling my name and rushing over to me.

He grabs my hand and spins me around just as my other grabs the door handle.

"Lou," he pauses, "I'm really really sorry for the way I acted towards you at the party. I wanted to apologize and maybe start over. Do you wanna like go to the movies this Thursday?" his invite is quick and short.
I mean it wouldn't hurt to go see a movie. It'll be fine. Only an hour or two long. It should all be good...I have faith. He wants to start over.

"Depends, what movie are we seeing?" I wink and he smiles as he lets go of my hand and I walk out the door straight to my car.

"Phew that's great just got myself a date this Thursday that I need to add to my planner," I sigh and close the car door behind me, "I believe people can change," I repeat the phrase softly and slowly as I put in Jake's movie date on Thursday.

A knock on my window startles me, making me jump then look up to see Daniel and I look back down shaking my head. I roll the window down slowly.
