Nobody would have ever thought that I, Christopher Valentine, would fall in love with a girl which is the complete opposite of me. For me, life has always been a bed of roses. I could have any car, clothes or girls I wanted with just the snap of my fingers. . .but I never knew that what I always wanted and got had a price to it and that it is overrated.
I never realised that a rainbow forming in the clear blue skies was so valuable. I didn't know that the sound of music in my ears could make me sing that same song over and over again without a tinge of boredom. Furthermore, I never appreciated what my mom gave me.
Every birthday present, I would not be satisfied.
The amount of allowance every once a month, I would want more.
The amount of love she gave me when my dad didn't, I stomped on it and threw it back at her.
