Mason was waiting by the door for him as he came out, "What did Ford want?" he asked.
Will smiled "Oh, he just wanted to know about why Fidds was mad at him"
The door to Ford's study opened suddenly, stopping the conversation, and the man within peered out. "Oh good, you're still here, the Spring Gala is in a couple of days, get started on that, William" he said, waving a hand at them as he closed the door.
Will sighed "Yes sir"
Mason frowned "Oh sure, give us two days notice" he muttered with a roll of his eyes.
Will tugged him down the hall to get started on cleaning up the ballroom "Good thing I have magic, anyway, hopefully at the party tomorrow night those two will talk and hopefully get together, or so help me I will drown them both in love potion and feed them to cupid"
"I don't know what's worse...Ford being horrible, or Ford being sappy..." Mason asked, as they began cleaning up the ballroom.
"Ford being horrid, obviously"
Mason swept the floor "Well...Are you trying to get them together?"
"Yes, of course! They both like each other, but they're both too idiotic and full of rage to see it, once they're together they'll mellow out more"
"And how in hell are you going to manage that?" Mason asked, pausing his sweeping to look up at Will.
Will grinned and winked "Music, my good friend, always helps, I'll be the entertainment for the party" he said, and it was true, a good bit of music always helped, but Will was also going to do more than just play a tune.
"I know you're good at playing, but, well, never mind, good luck"
Will smiled "Thanks."

They had spent hours fixing the ballroom up, and eventually Mason grew tired. He leaned the broom up against the wall, "Can we go to bed now?" he asked,
Will checked the time, it was way passed dinner time, he was surprised Ford hadn't come looking for them, "Sure" the demon said, coming over and picking him him. Mason grinned and pointed to the door "Onward noble steed!"
Will frowned "I'm having serious deja vu"
"From what?"
"You saying onward noble steed"
"To whom did you say it to?"
"I don't know, can't remember" Will said, carrying his boyfriend to bed.

Mason woke the next morning in Will's arms, enjoying the comfort for a few minutes before he got up and got dressed, stretching his arms over his head as he yawned. Will was snoring softly under the covers as the sunlight streamed through the unopened curtains. He went over to wake him, gently shaking him "Will?"
Will turned over, mouth open a little as the nineteen-year-old ran a hand through his blue hair, "Will? Come on, time to get up."
The demon mumbled something and opened his eyes at the touch "Hey" he said sleepily.
Mason smiled "Time to get up, your alarm hasn't gone off yet, but we have stuff to do today."
"Noooo, work, how I hate thee" Will grumbled, sitting up and stretching, his back cracking like a piece of pork rind in the microwave, "I feel old" he added, rubbing his lower back in discomfort, if this is what the side effects of sex were, they weren't nice.
"You slept funny, that's all" Mason said, buttoning up his shirt.
Will smirked "Lies, and you know it"
Mason grinned "Come on then"
"I'm going to have a shower first"
"You do need one"
"Shut up."
~
The alarm clock rang just as Will was fixing his hair in the mirror, he was dressed and just about ready to start the day.
"Are you done?" Mason asked, tapping his fingers against his arm as he waited for him.
"Almost"
Will clapped his hands and the room tidied itself up. With a bow and a tip of his hat he went to go finish up the party plans.
Mason smirked "Damn show off"
Will ran down the steps, two at a time and practically skipped into the downstairs hallway as he made his way to the kitchen. He tipped his hat to Ford as he passed him "Morning, Master!"
Ford raised an eyebrow "Hello, make breakfast about an hour from now, I think brunch might be better, you need to make a start on the party. You're in a very good mood."
Will nodded "I'm looking forward to playing some music, sir!" Will said, Ford smiled, seemingly also in a good mood, "Well, you are very good, when you aren't waking me up at half past midnight, I'm sure the guests will love whatever you play"
"Thank you, sir" Will grinned, going to get started on the rest of the plans.
~
Will made brunch a few hours later, straight after he had done the ballroom and cleaned the house. Mason sniffed the air as he and Mabel were setting up the plates in the dining room, whatever it was it smelled amazing to their empty bellies. Will poked his head around the door "Foods ready, are you hungry?"
"Starving" Mason answered.
Ford trailed in moments later. "Will, if you're hungry, sit and eat, please, you need to eat more regularly" the man said. Will sat down by Mason this time and did as he was told. "I'm quite looking forward to tonight's events, you must all be thoroughly sick of these parties by now you two?"
Mabel shrugged and Mason shook his head "It's a good chance to socialize, plus I'm looking forward to watching Will play"
"He is very good" Ford said, Mabel looked a little confused by Ford's positive change, and she knew it most likely wouldn't last long.
Will smirked and slurped up a slice of bacon, earning a smack from Mason "Manners!"
