Ford had joined them for breakfast after all.

Mabel and Will gave him a nod as they returned to their seats around the table. "You guys want to come on a trip with me?" he asked, buttering some toast as his brother shoved bacon into his mouth beside him.

"Where?" Ford asked.

"What's left of Bill's Tantrum, aka Flatland" Will replied.

Bill and Mason both looked up at him.

"Will?" his boyfriend questioned, not sure if it was a good idea.

Will cracked his fingers "I want to see it too, I haven't been back since...Since it was destroyed"

Bill looked guilty. He set down the rest of his breakfast, suddenly not hungry.

"Sure," Ford said.

"We'll need air bubbles, you won't be able to breathe."

"I've got something much better than that, Will"

"Better than magic?"

"Is the atmosphere okay to be in? Minus the breathing?" Stanford asked,

"It's like the Nightmare Realm minus oxygen, so yeah" Will replied.

"That's going to be very taxing on your magic" Ford said, Will sighed "Then what do you propose?"

"Breathing masks, you can still talk and everything, they just mean you don't have to worry about one more thing"

"Great, sort that" Will said, standing up and leaving.

Ford was going to tell him off for that snappy order but he knew Will was feeling upset.

Ford fitted the mask over Bill's face and adjusted the tubes "Comfy?"

Bill nodded, "Good, hold still" there was a click, and it tightened around his face,

"Ow!" Bill said, winced in pain and Ford smacked his hand away as he tried to fix it, "It needs to be tight, or air will leak out"

Bill grumbled his disapproval. Ford still felt sick as he made sure all of them were fitted perfectly with the masks, "I'm just going to get some meds too, otherwise you're going to have to drag an unconscious me around, and that won't be fun"

Will smirked "Actually that does sound like mo-"

Ford smacked him around the head and his sentence was cut short, "I kidd!" he cried.

Ford growled "Watch it, you!" he grumbled, leaving the room to grab the bottle of aspirin he knew was on his bedside table. He came back with it in his hand, shaking a couple onto his palm and downing them dry. Will chuckled, "Everyone ready?" he asked.

Ford quickly shoved the mask on his face, making sure it was secure before he nodded.

"Lets go then."

There was nothing left but rubble, floating in a starless expanse of nothingness. Mason gasped "Wow...You weren't joking when you said you destroyed it, Bill..." he trailed off. Ford had pulled out his journal and was frantically drawing what he could see as Will floated amongst the wreckage of his home. Shapes frozen in stasis, floated around the rocks. Circles, squares, and even a few lines.

"What are they?" Mason asked, tapping one, Will smiled "Flatlanders"

"Wait, you were one of these?"

Will nodded "Yup!"

"What's wrong with them?" Mabel asked,

"I stopped time, froze it in place. When I destroyed Flatland it must've set everyone into stasis." Bill said,
