Ford was not expecting to be attacked upon walking through the portal he had made, but he was, because TC had been waiting for him. The Collector grabbed him by the neck and shoved him up against Marina's CU, grinning at him as he struggled in his grip. "I've been waiting for you my friend, we're going to have some fun" he said, injecting the contents of the syringe pen into him.
Ford pushed him off and placed a hand to his neck as he felt the cold contents disappear into his veins and make him woozy. "Ughh..what did you do..?" he asked weakly, dropping the portal gun to the floor, TC snatched it up as he reached for it with shaky fingers.
"Just gave you something to help you cooperate better, is all."
Ford went still, breathing heavily as he righted himself up. "Stanford? Can you hear me?" The Collector asked. Ford looked up at him as his mind sunk into the darkness. He was still there, but he wasn't and when he tried to move his arms and legs they refused to budge. TC smirked "Come along then," he said, making his way through the vast array of CU's. Ford's legs move of their own accord and followed him. He tried to stop himself by pushing, shoving and screaming but it did no good. He was merely a puppet on a string, doing TC's bidding, at least until the drugs wore off.
Was this what it felt like to be possessed?
Unable to move as someone invisible pulled the marionette strings he was tied too?
They stopped outside a door and TC turned to him with a grin "Teach Will you mean him harm, he's so blinded by his love for his Master he doesn't see his Maser's 'true' intentions, oh and Stanford? Don't kill him, just remove the tracker chip you placed inside him for me" he said, pushing the door open.
"MASTER! HELP ME!" Will shrieked as he appeared in the Flatlander's line of sight , tears running down his face.
"Shut up" his mouth said, reaching over to grab a sharp knife off a tray nearby. Will gave him a confused look "Master?"
"Just be quiet!" he snapped, Will did so, very confused, his eye widened at the sharp tool and he struggled more, desperate to free himself.
Ford smirked at his victim.
NO! STOP! NO! WILL FORGIVE ME! I CAN'T STOP MYSELF!
Will sobbed "Master! Please! Get me out of here! I just want to go home!" the gray triangle cried, but Ford ignored him, coming ever closer with the knife clutched in his hand. The Flatlander trembled as it hovered above his face. Hurt and betrayal adamant in his features. Ford screamed from inside, his mind trying to fight back.
"Don't worry, William, this time I'm not trying to kill you, I promise."
NO! NO! NO!
Ford unclipped Will from the table and flipped him over, gently holding him down on the metal surface he had been restrained too. Will struggled in his hands, limbs waving as he tried to find a grip. The Flatlander let out a cry of pain as he felt the knife dig into his back, and all Ford could do was watch as his body broke the trust that had slowly built up.
STOP IT! NO!
But Ford couldn't stop and once he made the incision he grabbed the tweezers and dug around for the tracker. Will let out another heartbreaking cry of pain and went still as the tweezers pulled the tracker from him. Will sobbing as his gray blood ran down the wound on his back and pooled on the table all sticky and wet.
"This isn't you!" he cried, trying to turn over.
Ford chuckled "Really? This isn't me? Wake up. I never changed, and you're an idiot to think I ever did, The Collector can have you, you're useless to me now, I only came to get my tracker so my nephew can't find you" his mouth said. TC handed him his portal gun as he held out his hand for it. "Leave, Stanford, and don't worry, I'll take good care of him" TC said. Ford aimed it at the wall and pressed a button. There was a sharp bloop, and the portal appeared, "Good bye, William" he said, stepping through the swirling gateway.
