Will was snoring, actually snoring as they lay there, cuddled up to each other on Will's bed. Mason chuckled softly and buried his face into his half of the pillow. Not that he thought it was funny; it was more strangely adorable, all right, it was a little funny.

He lifted his head up as Will mumbled something, backwards and reversed before it came out as real words "Bill no, please don't go..." Will muttered in his sleep, whimpering slightly. Mason sighed and ran a hand through the blue hair, trying to calm him down. It appeared to work, and the demon settled.

The next morning, a while before breakfast, Will had awoken with a musical need and had headed straight to the music room to play something. Mason had followed soon after to watch him him. The melody rang out through the open door, catching the attention of Ford, who was in his study with the door cracked open. The man looked up and turned to stare at the door, "Whose playing that?" he muttered, standing up to go check.

Fidds followed too, a little intrigued. Mason looked up, and then returned his gaze, ignoring both of them as they peered in. Their eyes widened.

Will was the one playing that sweet tune. The demon opened his eyes and looked up at them, halting his song near the end. "I'm sorry, did I interrupt you all?" he asked, Mason came over and hugged him, glaring up at the two and daring them to start their bull shit.

Ford looked very uncomfortable at Mason's protectiveness.

"You didn't tell me you could play piano," Ford said.

"You didn't ask, sir" Will replied.

"No, I guess I didn't," Ford muttered.

Will smiled up at Mason, who kissed his cheek. "I can also play the violin, the guitar and as horrid as they might be I can also play the drum kits" Will said, fidgeting with a loose thread on his vest. Ford smirked as he imagined Will playing the drums and looked down at his feet. "My Brother said I needed to learn them. I still have no idea why," Will mumbled, closing the lid to the piano softly.

"I think you're amazing" Mason said, "So talented"

Will blushed "Thanks."

Ford looked back up "Quick question, William?"

"Yes, sir?"

"Does any part of you still hurt, from the Pain Serum?"

"No sir."

Ford smiled "Good."

Will made a grumble noise and Ford cocked his head to the side "Something wrong?"

"No sir."

Ford narrowed his eyes at him before walking off. Will gave Ford's back an angry look, his hair turning red as he struggled with his emotions. Mason stood in front of him, just in case Ford looked back, but thankfully he didn't.

Once Ford had returned to his study, Mason pointed to Fidds "Are you going to tell us why you took Will's eye out?" he growled.

Will nodded "I'd like to know too" he said, putting a hand on Mason's shoulder, "Don't be rude Mason" he added.

Fidds huffed "Well, Ford noticed that you could still use your magic strongly, even in your now mortal form, he also knew that the most concentrated part of that magic was in your eyes, so to make you less of a threat he asked me to take an eye out...Practice really..."

Will summoned his flames, the yellow tendrils smaller than they had been "I see"

Fidds rolled his eyes "I barely had any sleep last night, I'm going to bed, no need to call me for breakfast, or lunch" the man said, leaving the music room.

Will grabbed Mason's hand and sat down, tugging him down onto his lap, and kissing him softly to calm him down.

Mason sighed happily. "You're amazing you know that?" he said, leaning into Will's warm fingers as they stroked his face.

Will grinned and picked him up "Mine!" he said, carrying him down the hall to the kitchen.

"Put me down!"

"No."

"I'm going to fall!"

Will giggled "No you won't"

Mason grabbed for him as he teetered and Will chuckled, leaning down to kiss him "Relax, I got you."

~

Will was snoring again, Mason woke to it in his ears and muffled his laughter. They weren't weird old man snores, just cute ones. Will moved a little in his sleep "Nosam lufeelg" he muttered.

Mason raised an eyebrow "What are you even saying?" he asked the sleeping demon.

Will opened his eyes, "Huh?"

"Sorry for waking you, you were saying something in a funny language. Will wracked his brains and grinned "Oh, that was backwards reversed, demon language. I said your name," he said, looking a tiny bit embarrassed.

Mason chuckled "Cute, can you teach me?"

Will shrugged "Sure, why not, all you need to do is say the word or sentence, backwards and reversed"

Mason grinned "Okay, let me try, lliw" (Will)

Will giggled "Close, the word needs to come out sounding the same if someone played it the right way"

"?siht ekil" (Like this?)

Will chuckled and hugged him "tcefrep" (Perfect)

"Now try to say my name backwards reversed" Will said, his eyes shining.

Mason took a deep breath "Rephic lliw" (Will Cipher)

"There we go, see? Easy!"

"looc" Mason said with a smirk. (Cool)

~

Mason pushed Will out of bed the next morning as he failed to wake him up, and the demon woke with a yelp as he hit the ground. He looked up at Mason as the almost adult peeked over the side with a mischievous look.

"Sorry, I'm a wriggler" Mason lied, giving him a dazzling smile.

Will rolled his eyes "Suuuureeee" he said, standing up and getting dressed with a snap of his fingers. Mason leapt off the bed and ran to his wardrobe to get the clothes he needed to change into.

"Meet you downstairs!" Will called out as he headed for the door.

~

"Making breakfast on time I see?" Ford sneered. Will nodded but didn't look up from the stove top he was cooking upon. "Ignoring me?"

Will frowned "My apologies, sir, I'm trying to focus on cooking so I don't burn anything"

Ford rolled his eyes "At least your manners are improving"

"Yes, sir" Will answered, checking the bacon was cooked before setting it down on a serving plate. The silverware already filled with eggs, pancakes and other breakfast items. Ford went to go wait in the dining room, pouring himself a cup of coffee as he left.

Mason trailed in just as Will was setting it all down on the table and the demon gave him a nod, and a smile as he went to go stand in the corner.
