The music ended and Mason bowed to a very dazed looking Pacifica. "If you'll excuse me?" he questioned, Pacifica nodded, her face red.
Mason left the ballroom and made his way down the hallway "Will?"
"KITCHEN!" Will yelled, just loud enough for him to hear. Mason trailed in to find Will doing the dishes, "How did I do?" he asked with a smile. Will dried his hands on a towel "Bravo! Encore!" he said with a smirk, clapping his hands in amusement. Mason chuckled "Really?"
"You did really well"
"Thanks Will, those lessons really helped." Mason said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Is the ballroom clear? I want to clean up," Will said, picking up a bucket by his feet. Mason nodded "Yeah, everyone will be leaving now, but uh, Ford's friends will be staying a bit longer."
Will sighed in annoyance, but made his way back to the Ballroom.
Thankfully, it was just Ford and Fidds, they were dancing around the parlor with not a care in the world as the music played quietly. They stopped when they saw him, "My apologies for interrupting, I was just going to start cleaning up" Will said, holding up the bucket and other supplies.
"I-It's fine, Will, um, me and Fidds were um, done anyway... I'll show you your r-room, Fidds," Ford said, looking a little embarrassed.
Will raised an eyebrow.
"Not like that!" Ford spluttered, Will smirked "Sure."
Fidds chuckled, "It's fine Ford. I know which room is the guest room. I have stayed over before," he said, leaving the Ballroom. Ford sighed in defeat and turned off the music with a flick of his wrist while Will started sweeping up the mess left behind. "Is something wrong, Master?"
Ford shook his head "N-No...I'm fine Will...Is that the time? It's okay, you can do this in the morning, it's nearly 1 am, just do it after breakfast."
Will looked up from his sweeping in shock.
Why was Ford being so nice?
Why was he stuttering?
Was something wrong with him?
Not wanting to question it he leaned the broom up against the wall and left the Ballroom, trailing down the hallway to his own room. He passed Fidds room, and tried very hard to stay quiet, but the man must of heard him.
"I don't bite you know." Fidds was lying down, looking up at the ceiling when he peeked around the door frame, "William?" he asked.
"Yes?" he stopped and pushed open the door a bit to see better.
"Does, does Ford like me?"
Will mentally laughed and nodded, Fidds sighed. "Really? Like like me? It doesn't feel like it...Whenever we're alone he'll be really nice and kind, but as soon as anyone else is there, he just...Freezes over. And shuts down and goes cold again....I wish he wasn't like that."
Will stood there in silent, not sure what to say, he was quite sure Fidds was just as nasty as Ford, even Mason said he was a bad egg. But here he was calm as anything, not being mean, not glaring, nothing. Heck, he even sounded sad.
"Well, uh...thank you, demon" Fidds said, turning over to face the wall, Will closed the door just too "My name is William" he said.

The next morning, Will was still asleep and Fidds was at the door saying a hurried goodbye to Ford. Mason watched them part ways before knocking on Will's door. The demon snorted awake and grumbled, "Whose there?" he asked sleepily.
Mason opened the door "It's kinda late in the morning, but you need to make breakfast now, or brunch"
Will rubbed the sleep from his eyes "Yeah, be there in a second"
"Hurry, Fords already up, and if you don't get a move on, he's going to be throwing you across the room pretty soon."
Will scrambled out of bed, using magic to change and make himself look more presentable.
Mason smiled "Ready?" he asked.
"Yes."
They hurried to the kitchen to quickly get started on breakfast.
Will smiled as he cooked, "Master Mason?"
"Yeah?" Mason asked, looking up from the stack of plates he was getting down from the cupboard, "You said Ford likes things in three's right?"
"Yeah?"
"Well...Master, you and me are all gay, so that's three"
"What- Ford? Gay? Where did you get that idea?" Mason asked, Will smiled "Him and Fiddleford are really awkward around each other, plus I can read minds, remember?"
"Oh, oh....That make a lot of sense actually, I always just assumed Fidds was just a creep, but I get it now..."
"I spoke to him last night, not creepy what so ever" Will said, flipping the now cooked food onto a serving plate.
"What did he say?"
"He asked me if Ford liked him"
"And?"
"I read Ford's mind and he does," Will said.
"Oh...That must be why he invites Fidds round so often, well, often because they live so far apart."
Will snorted and Mason laughed "Maybe...You know I just realized Fidds probably likes Ford back, but won't admit it...That's the most cliche thing I've ever heard of."
"Yeah, someone needs to set them up," Will said.
"Wait...You're gay too? Um, not that I'm against it, ugh I just wondered since you mentioned it," Mason said sheepishly. Will smirked "Yes, I am, is that a problem?" he asked as he floated up the last tray into the air. Mason shook his head. "Good, Breakfast is ready."
