Bill looked back at the wall he had shot the portal at, noticing something purple glinting in the bushes by the cobble stone. He hurried over to see what on earth it could be and picked it up. It was a gemstone, glowing softly at his touch.
"That's Hunters magic amulet, it must have slipped out of his pocket when we buried him," Mabel said, as she came over to see what had caught her boyfriend's attention.
"Should we give it to Ford? Or?"
"Yes, he's so lost without his magic, he keeps clicking his fingers to turn the lights on and then has to do it manually when he realizes he doesn't have any magic anymore, it's depressing." Mabel replied. Bill grumbled, he really wanted it for himself, but he doubted the Axolotl would allow him to weld it. Ford took it from his hand happily as he passed it over, a sad smile on his face "Thank you" he muttered, clipping it to his sweater, it looked so out of place on his blue outfit. Purple really wasn't Ford's colour at all. The man put his hand out to the back doors, and the glass was enveloped in a purple glow, sliding shut with a flick of his wrist. "There, much better" he said, smiling as he felt the familiar throb of magic in his veins once more.

"Marina? Do you want to live in the house or the garden?" Bill asked, setting the feathered snake down on the ground as he made his way back to his bedroom after dinner. Marina hummed beside him as she followed "House please, it's far too cold outside" she replied, "Alright then, any particular place?"
"I do like a good comfy teapot, maybe placed some were warm?" she said, Bill rolled his eyes "I can't tell if you're serious, but if you are you need to ask Stanford. I don't think he'd be all that thrilled to find a snake sleeping in his beloved porcelain, but it would be funny to see his reaction."
Marina chuckled softly.
Will woke before Mason did and it was still dark as he climbed down the covers and onto the floor to go see if anyone was up. Ford's bedroom light was on as he trailed down the hall, his side wasn't hurting much now, and was healing quickly from the incident with the bookshelf. Flatlander's healed faster than human did, a few hours more and the bruise would be gone.
The small triangle knocked on the door and peered in, "M-Master?" he asked, noticing the man tucked up in his bed, eyes wide and bloodshot as he rested his head on the pillow.
Ford turned over to face the window, his back to the small being, he didn't want to talk to him in fear of making things worse.
"Go away, Will. I'm okay. You should be more worried about TC trying to control me again, any moment a portal could open up and he could... He could..." he trailed off with a sigh, not bothering to wipe the tears from his face.
Will narrowed his eye and growled "STOP IT! JUST STOP! YOU'RE A GLEEFUL! I KNOW TC DRUGGED YOU AND I'M TRYING TO FIX THINGS! NOW STOP BEING A MISERABLE BABY AND LOOK AT ME!" he screamed, stomping his foot.
Ford rolled over to face him once more, the tears running down his face as fought to control his emotions, he hated feeling so weak, what had happened to him?
Will sighed, and rubbed his eyes, "I'm sorry, for yelling, but it's true, you're a Gleeful, you shouldn't get all upset over a nothing like me, now, how about you give me a hug and we pretend like TC's bullshit never happened and you help me make some breakfast, no ones up and I'm starving." the triangle whined.
The miserable man got out of bed and put on his dressing gown, picking him up off the floor as he walked over. "Fine. But it won't change anything, does bacon sound good?" he asked, smiling softly as Will hugged him as best as his tiny self could. "I was going for cereal but Yes! I love bacon!" he said happily, patting his face with a hand.
