"W-what are you doing here?" The fear in my voice is obvious
"You mean the place that I've been paying for you, your sister and your mother to live in?" He releases an evil smirk.
"Y-you were never in prison were you?" My eyes widen.
He evilly laughs and gets closer to me.
"No and I think it's been that time that I come home, don't you think? What'd you say honey?" He turns to look at my mother who nods with a big smile.
"Of course mi amor!" She goes up to him and kisses him.
"And if you say anything about this to anyone you'll regret it" he turns back to me.
I drop my book bag and fall down to my knees feeling suffocated.
"Valerie do you hear us? You better not let one word about this out to anyone!" My mother shakes me but I'm just sitting there, I can't hear a thing in the moment.
She keeps shaking me when Francisco tries pulling me up with force.
"Don't fucking touch me!" My eyes are glossy but I hold back the tears.
I get up and run upstairs to my room.
"Val!" I hear them shouting.
I lock my door and change my clothes, putting on whatever I first see in my closet.

"Valeria!" They bang on my door
I wipe my tears. When I open the door I push my self past them and run downstairs. I look up before leaving and I see Anitta holding onto the railing with tears falling down her cheeks.
I'm about to go up to her when my mom and Francisco come running down.
"Valeria!"
I open the door and run out.
"I swear Valerie if you say anything you are dead!" I hear my mom yelling.
I wipe my tears away and keep running

It swings open and I see Maria.
"Valeria!" She smiles and opens the door wide.
"Omg bitch please tell me you changed your mind!" Alondra hugs me.
I smile and nod.
"Hey." Natalie looks up at me as she does puts on lipgloss.
"Hey Nat!"
"So you decided to come after all!"
"Yeah, I mean I needed to get out of my house for a while, ya know?"
