A few days later...
VALERIA POV
"Do you have to go?" Grayson leans his head on me hugging me tight.
"Yes Grayson I do, it's the only way I'll move on from the horrible life I have here." I move him off to look him in the eyes.
"So I'm horrible?" He smiles.
"No- you know what I mean." We both laugh.
"Then why don't you just move to New York instead?" He keeps trying to negotiate.
"It's too close, I don't want to see Ethan anywhere in my life for now on. At least until he can get his shit together. I don't wanna deal with drama in my life any longer." I sigh.
"I understand Val." He leans his head back on me.
We hug each other for a moment.
"I can go visit you then." He looks up at me with a smile.
"You better" I laugh and so does he.
"This is for you." He gives me an invitation to his graduation.
"I'll be there."
"You better" he laughs and then kisses me.

Grayson just left and I decide to start packing the rest of my things and then I donate the rest.
I start to realize I have a bunch of Ethan's clothes. I put it in a box and write his name. I borrow my grandparents car and drop off the donation boxes. I head to Ethan's and put his box of clothes on the front doorstep. I'm about to leave.
"Valeria?" I hear someone say behind me.
I turn around.
"Ms.Dolan" I smile.
"Wow, I haven't seen you in a while!" She smiles and comes in for a hug.
"How are you?"
"I've been good. Better then ever." I smile.
"Yeah you look good. I'm happy for you."
"Thanks."
"So what brings you here?"
"I just thought I'd bring Ethan's stuff back. I didn't want to throw it away, it isn't mine to do that so I thought he might want it back."
"Well thanks for that." She looks at the box.
"No problem."
"So you and him really ended huh?" She looks a little disappointed.
"Yeah. Well everything happens for a reason, we weren't meant to be. I hope he finds someone soon and I hope he treats her good. Just tell him I wish him luck in life."
"I understand, he was just the love of your life. It was meant to end eventually. Soon you'll find your soulmate, I promise you. You take care!" She smiles and goes inside.
"You too!" I walk away thinking about what she said. If Ethan's the love of my life then who's my soulmate? Is that even possible? I thought we had a soulmate. Do soulmates even exist? Who knows? All I know is that I wanted to be with Grayson right now. He made everything better. He was home for me.

I get home and suddenly feel knots growing in my stomach. I run to the toilet in my bathroom and puke.
My eyes get watery as I continue letting everything out. Once I'm done I get up to brush my teeth and then drink water.
I start to think about it. Then I head straight to the store.
