VALERIA POV (days later)
I'm in the school library reading my book sitting by the back shelves on the carpet.
"Hey Val!" I turn to see Ethan coming to sit down next to me.
Oh great, I guess he wants me in his bed now.
He probably got bored of Monique, for now.
"Can't, I'm on my period." I say reading my book.
"What? No." His eyebrows furrow
"Then what?" I look at him.
"I was thinking..." he mumbles.
"What?"
ETHAN POV
SHIT.
I'm not sure if I want to tell her now.
What if I just think I love her but I actually don't?
She's staring at me, waiting to hear what I have to say.
I don't know what to say now.
"Since thanksgiving is around the corner, I was thinking maybe we can all have friends giving together?" I say trying to make it seem like that's what I was going to say.
"Of course." She seems satisfied.
She goes back to reading her book like nothing is bothering her.
"So.." I say.
She sighs and looks at me again.
"Need anything else?"
God she's so intimidating but it's sexy as hell.
I just want to grab her and...
"Ethan?"
"Yeah?" I snap out of it.
"What else do you need?"
"Oh, nothing." I say getting up
"Okayyyy." She seems a little embarrassed.
"Well uhhh, I'll see ya around." I start leaving.
She smiles.

VALERIA POV
I walk with Alondra and Maria to Alondra's house.
"You and Jake a thing now?" I ask Alondra and see her blush.
"You and Ethan a thing now?" She asks and makes me blush.
"I asked you first." I smile.
"No technically we've been asking you first!" Maria laughs
Shit. They have a point.
"I don't know" I slump down on Alondra's bed.
"Is someone in love?" Alondra sits next to me.
"But what if he doesn't feel the same way about me?" I put a pillow over my face.
"Val, maybe you should ask him." Maria says
"What? Why me?" I get up with wide eyes.
"Yes! What if he does feel the same way but he's afraid you don't feel the same way, just like you!" Maria explains.
