It's starts to drizzle.
"Val!" Alondra yells
"C'mon get in the car Val, it's raining" Maria sounds worried.
Valeria ignores them and gets running.
"Val get in for fucks sake!" I yell when I see lightning.
"I'm not getting in the same car as that piece of shit!" Valeria yells, referring to me.
She continues running and we keep up with her.
We then finally stop in front of her house and she goes in her house quickly.
"Wait here guys." Maria and Alondra get out.
Maria and Alondra seemed to be locked out.
VALERIA POV
"Oh mija!" My grandma hugs me crying.
"She isn't doing to well again." My mom cries.
"Oh Ani" I hug her. She's pale. Cold.
"They said they'll be here shortly." My grandpa comes in the room and puts the phone down on the dresser. He's crying.
"I can't- I can't" Anitta coughs, struggling to speak.
"She can't breathe. She can't breathe! Call 911!" I get up and freak out.
"I just did mija." My grandpa shakes his head crying.
"Well call them again!" I cry and grab the phone.
"Valeria" my grandma cries as she sounds scared.
"Anitta!" My mom screams and I look over to see my mom trying to calm Anitta down.
Anitta shakes in her bed. Blood comes out her nose and mouth.
"No! Ani stay with me!" I rush over to her and help my mom calm her down.
"They're here!" My grandparents run to open the door.
But I look back at Annita and she's not breathing anymore.
"Ani, no." I cry and fall back and sit on the ground. I get up and push pass the paramedics and leave outside. It's pouring like crazy.
ETHAN POV
By now it's raining like crazy, Maria and Alondra make us wait in the car with them until Valeria comes out but then we suddenly see flashing lights.
We hear an ambulance nearby and our eyes widen when they stop right in front Valeria's house. Maria and Alondra get out and rush to the house door.
It opens and the paramedics go in.
Valeria comes out and drops to her knees.
I can't see her face clearly, it looks like she's crying.
I know she's crying when I hear her scream in pain.
Maria and Alondra quickly hug her but she continues crying.
Her tears mix with the pouring rain and her screams mix with the thunder. She hits the ground with her fists.
Something in me makes me feel bad. I get out the car and walk to her.
I fall to be her level and hug her. She hugs me tight and tells me:
"She's gone." Her voice is shivering.
I start to cry when I hear those words but I still try to be strong to comfort Valeria.
"It's- it's gonna be okay. Hey- Hey look at me. Val, it's gonna be okay." I grab her cheeks and look at her but she shakes her head.
"No it's not, it's not okay! Why do you always lie to me?!" She pushes me away and gets up to run away.
