ETHAN POV (AT SCHOOL-LUNCH)
"I can't believe you two even lasted that long to be honest." Cameron says
"Yeah, the old Ethan just lasted like a night." Jake says laughing.
I shake my head with a smile.
"Well it doesn't matter anymore, I needed to move on from whatever that was already."
I was lying to them and to myself. I missed her.
The boys laugh.
"I liked her." Grayson says.
The boys stop laughing and turn to look at him
"What?" I ask
"Yeah, she made you seem happier whenever she was around. She kept you grounded in ways you didn't notice. You even stopped coming around the gang for a while because you've been so into her and you didn't even realize it. She's good for you bro." Grayson continues.
I look down. I hated that he was right.
"I just think I could've treated her better." Kian says.
I look up at him and he's glaring at me.
"Well sad that you'll never get to." I glare at him
He shakes his head and chuckles.
"Ethan!" The boys tap on my shoulder.
I look over and see Monique and her girls coming up to us.
Oh how I wish I only lasted one night with Monique. Uhhhhh.
"Hey boys what we're you all talking about?" Her voice is so fake and annoying.
She puts her arms around me.
Please stop touching me.
"Oh nothing just how Kian has a crush on someone." Jake says
I look at him thinking who?
"Oh really Kian, who is she?" Monique teases.
"Valeria." Kian looks over at me.
He knows what he's doing.
Monique's smile fades.
"Speak of the devil!" Monique sounds disgusted
We look over to see Valeria and her friends entering the cafeteria.
Oh Valeria. I missed her. I needed her.
For some reason the boys are laughing.
"Val!" Jake yells.
Valeria turns around and looks at us.
"Come over here!" Cameron yells.
She tells her friends something and they go sit down as she comes towards us.
"What's up?" She asks Cameron and Jake.
"Your boyfriend over here wanted to see if you were free tonight." Jake laughs.
Grayson shakes his head by what they're saying.
"Haha funny." Valeria says.
"Yes funny indeed." Monique adds.
We all look at her.
"I can't believe you Kian. You like this ugly loser! She doesn't even know how relationships work. And I bet she's still a virgin." Monique yells.
I can see Valeria turning red, she looks at me and quickly leaves.
"Yeah run off you ugly duckling and never come back! You hear me!" Monique continues.
