Days passed.
Grayson has been taking me to school for the past few days and I honestly feel better with him expect when I see Ethan and her so close together. The way he was with me. She made his laugh now and it was her he was looking at. I couldn't take it anymore. That's why I'm going do to what's best for me.
It was Friday thank goodness. Grayson and I made plans to go away for the weekend and he'll miss school on Monday.
After school I said goodbye to my best friends and left with Grayson. They were pretty sad. They kept trying to convince me to stay but I couldn't.

When we arrived at Grayson's parents lighthouse I got out and quickly went it to unpack for the weekend. It was beautiful and away from everyone else. Just me and him. My friend that I can trust with all my heart. I don't if it was because he was Ethan's brother or because I felt something for him. I wasn't sure. But I do know I wasn't in pain when I was with him.
He made me laugh. Every moment we spent together. It was a like the sun kissed me. The wind hugged me and he saw me. I felt genuinely happy.
He tried to teach me to drive but it was no use. He made fun of me. I was really scared that I almost killed the both of us. We raced down the lake. We swam and every night we listened to music. He played piano to me.
But the last day. Monday. I hate Mondays.
I waited at the top of the lighthouse. With my bags and suitcases packed while he packed his.
Suddenly I heard him behind me.
"Val don't go"
I turn around.
"Gray, I wish I didn't have to but I can't do this anymore. I need to figure out what I want. I need space from him." I feel bad for Grayson.
"Stay for me. Val- I love you." He was hesitating at first.
"Gray-" I'm shocked.
"No please don't say anything if you're going to leave anyway." He looks down.
"Grayson, I'm not leaving because of you. Trust me, I wish I can stay." I grab onto his hand and bring it to me.
"Then why are you leaving me Val?" He cries. His raspy voice breaks my heart.
"I'm not Gray, I promise you when the time is right I will come back to you." I wipe his tears away and he nods.
"Now stop crying before you make me cry." I laugh and he laughs as he sniffles.
I hug him one last time and we leave. He drops me off at the airport.
My plan was to go to Los Angeles and figure out my life. I had said good bye to my mom, grandparents, friends, the boys, and Grayson. Everyone knew my plan but Ethan. I didn't bother to tell him. He wouldn't even care.
Before I got off Grayson held on tight to my hand. I saw how much he wanted to cry.
"I'll be okay."
"Call me when you get there safe."
"I will." I smile.
He lets go and I leave with my bag and suitcase. He drives away and I go inside.
I get on the plane and in no time I'm in the air. On my way to Los Angeles.
