I'm walking in the neighborhood alone when I start getting phone calls.
Alondra and Maria. I ignore the calls because I don't feel like speaking to anyone at the moment. They call about three more times and then I get a phone call from Grayson. I answer it.
"Valeria where are you at? We're worried sick over here for you." He sounds worried.
"I'm fine Gray, I just felt like going for a walk and then ended up walking home."
"Are you sure you're fine?"
"Yes, tell Maria and Alondra I said not to worry."
"I will. And if you need anything call me if you need m-" he's interrupted.
"Baby I was thinking we'd go over to my place after this." I hear a girl say in the back.
"Listen Val sorry but I need to go now, take care."
"Uhh sure." It hurts me because I really like him but no way we could ever work. He's Ethan's twin brother! And if we don't end up working out, it'll be the end of our friendship.
"Bye." He says.
"Bye." I hang up.
Shortly after that I get a call from Ethan.
I smile.
I pick it up.
"Yes?" I smirk.
"Val" he sounds angry.
"Yessss?" I repeat.
"Where are you at?" He's serious.
"Where are you?" I laugh.
"Val I'm not playing. Tell me where you're at so I can come get you."
"Why should I? So you can yell at me? Try to make me feel like you love me but then break my heart all over again?"
"Valeria! I'm fucking serious! Tell me!- tell me where you're at please. Because if something happens to you- I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive myself." His voice softens.
I'm silent for a moment.
"Valeria?"
"Ethan, that's. such. a. pretty. lie." I laugh again.
"You think this is funny?"
"Yeah- yeah I do." I keep laughing.
"Damn it Valeria. Just tell me where you're at!"
"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Whatever." I hang up laughing and I notice a liquor store across the street.
I walk over to buy a bottle of liquor and a pack of cigarettes. I pay and then put the pack of cigarettes in my bra. I walk out of the store sipping the liquor and then bend down to take off my heels because they hurt from walking too much. When I look up I see Ethan coming out of his Jeep. He turns around and sees me. He realizes I'm right there.
"Oh shit!" I slightly laugh dropping my heels and run.
"Valeria!" He runs after me after picking up my heels.
I laugh and keep running.
"Valeria! Stop!"
"You can't catch me Ethan!"
"When I catch you I swear Valeria!"
"What? What you're gonna do?"
After almost two blocks of running from him I almost trip from feeling tipsy but then Ethan catches me. I try to run again but he pulls me to him.
"No!" I giggle.
"What are you on?" He glares at me.
"Heartbreak bitch." I laugh.
"C'mon I'm gonna take you home." He grabs my hand.
"No I can't go home like this Ethan, my grandparents will kill me." I hold back.
"I'm not taking you there. Let's just get you some water."
I sigh and go with him.
We walk all the way back to his Jeep.

We're in the car heading I don't know where.
I turn on the radio but he instantly turns it off.
I glare at him and then take out a cigarette. I grab the lighter from his cup department. I try to light it up but then he notices.
"What the fuck are you doing?" He grabs it and throws it out the window.
"What the fuck Ethan? Everything I do is a problem?"
He ignores me.
I roll my eyes and look at the road.
"Where the hell are we even going?" I ask annoyed.
"We're taking you somewhere to rest." He says looking at the road.
I sigh and put my head against the window and I can feel him stare at me.
After six minutes we finally arrive at our destination.
We get out the car. Before we go in he puts his coat around me.
I look around.
"Can I get a room?" Ethan asks the old man.
"One or two beds?" The old man asks Ethan.
Ethan looks at me for a moment. "Uhhh, one is fine." I hear in his voice that that made him nervous.
I look away and smirk.
"Here you go. Room seventeen." The old man hands Ethan a key and Ethan pays him.
"Thank you sir."
"Thank you."
Ethan puts his arm around my waist and we leave to our room.
Authors note: sorry it took long to update today. I was busy but I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. I kind of have plans for Valeria and Grayson since some of you ship them so bad, I do too not gonna lie but it will have a dark twist for Ethan :(
He won't die or anything, none of them are but it'll be kind of dark. I just think it'll be an interesting turn. But yeah thanks for reading. And btw I'm in love with the twins joining tiktok! It's really funny and cute. I hope we get to see more of them on there. I'll update when I can soon again. No promises.
