OCTOBER 1st
It's been almost a month since me and Ethan have been hanging out together, having sex almost every day, him picking me up after school is already like a daily routine but I still sleep at home, sometimes.
What is he doing to me?
"So how have things been at home with your mom and him?"
"It's been chill actually" I look at Ethan as he drives.
"That's good" he holds my hand.
"Yeah they haven't said shit to me"
"If they do you know where you can stay" he moves his hand and grips my thigh.
I shake my head as I think about what Maria told me.
"You're going to have to ask him sooner or later?"
Her voice is in my head.
"What is it Val?"
"Nothing." I lie.
"Something's wrong what is it?"
"What are we doing?" I sigh.
"What do you mean?" He looks at me and then back at the road.
"Yeah, I mean what is this that we're doing?" My voice is trembling because I know it's not going to end well.
"I have no idea what you're trying to say."
"Are we in a relationship or are we just fucking around?!" I felt frustrated
He pulls over and stays silent for a moment.
"We're uhh- we're-" I know he's trying to think of something, he's always lying.
"Got it." I open the door, grab my stuff and leave.
"Val!" He pops his head out the window before driving trying to catch up to me but the light turns red.
FRIDAY
Its been two days since Ethan and I spoke and I see him around with Monique just like I always do.
I was pretty bummed yeah, but I didn't care that I probably destroyed the one thing that I at least had with him because I didn't want to be involve in that kind of relationship and I don't want him to think I was so easy.
3rd period
"Val I know it's been hard but it's probably for the best." Maria looks at me.
"It's not hard at all, I'm great!" I force a smile.
"You know what, let's have a sleep over. We haven't had a girls night in so long." She sighs.
"Oh please, I'm so in a need of one." I smile.
"I'll let Alondra know" she laughs and I nod.

"Girls night bitch!" Alondra comes up to me with a big smile.
"It's about time right?" I smile
"Hell yeah! It's gonna be at my place. My parents won't be home." She winks
I nod.
"Hey is it cool if I bring a couple of friends?" She asks
"it's your house." I shrug.
"Okay!" She claps her hands in excitement.
