ETHAN POV
I get home after dropping off Valeria.
"What took you so long?" Grayson sits on the couch crossing his legs on the coffee table.
"I- I was- I talked to Val about some things." I stutter.
"You guys just talked?" Grayson smirks.
"Yeah, what else would we do?" I get nervous.
"Mkay, whatever you say brother." He smiles and gets up.
"Okay... I'm going to bed." I go up stairs to my room.
I close the door and sit on my bed.
What happened between Valeria and I was something special to me.
It's been so long since I've held her in my arms like that.
Flashbacks fill my head as I touch the places on my skin where I remember the feeling of her kissing me, touching me. Her warm finger tips. I grabbed them and kissed them softly. Leaving traces of wet kisses on her.
The hot steamy car, warm in her arms. She hugged me as I cried after we made love but we didn't say a word to each other. She caressed me moving my hair out of my sweaty face and she kissed the top of my head to calm me down. I feel so ashamed of myself for not treating her better. She held my child inside of her for twelve weeks and I made her feel like crap when I told her I was glad that she lost the baby but I really wasn't. I wished she had my child. I kissed her arm, sniffled, and buried my face in her bare chest. I felt safe. In her arms.
At this moment I knew I loved her.
I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.
Only her.
I had to tell her.

The next day at school I was ready to tell her.
I close my locker and I see her by her locker laughing with her friends.
I'm about to go up to her and tell her how I feel when someone calls my name.
"Ethan?"
I turn around and I see her.
My first love.
The one who broke my heart.
The one I could never forget.
Juliet.
"Juliet!" I smile at her.
"Oh my goodness! It's so good to see you!" She hugs me.
"You too!" I hug her and turn to look at Valeria.
Valeria sees me hugging Juliet and quickly looks away.
She seems upset now but it's not what it looks like.
I turn back to Juliet.
"What are you doing here?" I furrow my eyebrows.
"Ouch. So you didn't miss me?" She laughs.
"No it's not that, it's just you were gone for two years and then you come back?"
"Yeah my parents wanted to move back to New Jersey, I had no choice so now here I am!" She smiles.
"Oh, I'm sorry that you had to leave Malcolm" I look down. He was the guy she cheated on me with and left me for.
"Oh no! Malcolm and I- we were- we ended things about a year ago already. I caught him- cheating." She mumbles.
"Oh. I feel bad now, I shouldn't have brought him up. Sorry." I shake my head.
"No don't be. It's okay. At least I have you! My old friend! You feel like going out to catch up on some things?" She smirks.
I look back at Valeria as she glares at me.
VALERIA POV
"No don't be. It's okay. At least I have you! My old friend! You feel like going out to catch up on some things?" I hear a girl talking to Ethan.
She's blonde and looks about three inches taller than me.
"I'd like that." Ethan smiles at her.
"Who's that?" I ask Jake as he hugs Alondra.
"Oh you don't know? That's Juliet, Ethan's first." He smirks.
"Huh." I look at her flirting with him.
"Why?" Jake looks at me.
"No reason, just curious." I smile at him.
I can't let no one know what happened between us last night. It meant everything to me but I couldn't let anyone know that, especially Ethan.
I wasn't going to let myself get hurt this time.
Ethan walks away with the girl as they hold hands.
They're going to skip last hour! They leave and I can see them getting in his Jeep.
I feel jealous but I continue with my day.
I knew he would never change. I didn't expect him to.
