Brothers

Seonghwa storms back to the house, not even caring he's walking through the woods naked or that the twigs and sharp rocks are stabbing his soft feet. He grumbles about the encounter with the four strangers in their territory, daring one of them to try and go against his wishes of them staying outside.

However, once he steps into the clearing where their house is located, he sees Yeosang sitting on the porch swing with Ana in his arms. She was laying down against his chest, possibly asleep for her nap. Seonghwa's heart melts and once he's close enough, he kisses Yeosang's forehead, "Thank you."

"What happened?" Yeosang immediately asks, his large green eyes were wide as he waited for an answer.

"Mingi's brother is here," Seonghwa mumbles under his breath, "And he brought his pack."

"Pack?" Yeosang frowns, then his eyes soften, "I didn't know Mingi had a brother."

"They're half brothers," Seonghwa explains, sighing as he brushes a dark brown curl behind Ana's ear, "Mingi doesn't talk much about his family because... well, his father is the most powerful Alpha, and he has many Betas and Omegas claimed as his own. Mingi doesn't have full siblings. From what I understood is that Primrose, his mother, had trouble getting pregnant. The midwife even told her that if she were to carry a pup to full term she and the baby wouldn't make it. And so when she finally got pregnant with Mingi and gave birth to him at full term, she almost died during child birth from bleeding out."

"But," Seonghwa sighs, "Valentine had flings with many Betas and Omegas, Jongho's mother being one of them. He's actually one of Valentine's favorites when it comes to his claimed Betas and Omegas. Not sure why though... some say the Beta saved Valentine during a hunting trip when they came across a bunch of hunters. But he never compared to Primrose, and he knew that. But, having Primrose as his mate didn't stop Valentine from fooling around. So he has older half siblings and younger half siblings, but he wasn't as close to any of them like he was to Jongho."

"His pack sounds a lot like ours," Yeosang frowns, "What happened to them? Jongho and Mingi?"

Before Seonghwa could answer, he snaps his head over to the clearing and sees Hongjoong helping Mingi walk to the house. The fight amongst the Alphas caused him many injuries on his body, thankfully nothing broken. Seonghwa stands, moving to take his daughter in his arms but Yeosang smiles, "It's okay, I got her. Go help him."

Seonghwa nods and races off of the porch to go help Hongjoong bring in the Alpha, Mingi hisses when Seonghwa lifts his arm to place it around his shoulders. He looks to Hongjoong, taking this moment to speak to him through their private link, I'm going to place him in the bed, watch for the them.

You don't trust them do you? Hongjoong asks, arching his eyebrow.

No, and right now you shouldn't either considering they had attacked our Alpha on our territory, Seonghwa growls slightly before carrying Mingi in the house, down the hall and to their bedroom.

Once he was placed on the bed, Seonghwa made sure he was comfortable before tending to his cuts and bruises. That is until Mingi waves him off, "Leave them." Seonghwa didn't protest, he sighs and moves to put the first aid kit away when Mingi gently grabs his hand to stop him, "Lay with me."

The Omega smiles softly and obeys, sitting the first aid kit on the table by their bed before crawling in his Alpha's awaiting arms. Seonghwa places his head on Mingi's bare chest, Mingi sighs heavily and closes his eyes, "Where's Ana?"

"Yeosang was holding her," Seonghwa whispers, tracing figures on Mingi's chest with the tip of his finger.

Mingi hums, "Good," he sighs, kissing the top of Seonghwa's blonde hair before rubbing his hands up and down Seonghwa's back and arms, "Do you think he did it?"
