ethan's soft locks tickled my jaw, his face buried into the crook of my neck while the cold material of his glasses pressed against my skin.

"baby" i whisper just in case he had fallen asleep. he didn't, adjusting his position as he looked up and shyly smiled, using his pointed finger to push up his glasses.

"let's go get food, i'm hungry" i say with a pout, my fingers running through his brown locks that i loved so dearly.

he nodded in agreement, sneaking a kiss real quick making me blush. we got up and got ready, changing from our 'lazy day clothes' before slipping on our shoes and leaving.

walking hand in hand, ethan held me close to his body as the wind blew harshly on this cold winter day. we finally arrived to the corner cafe that we always go too, ethan opening the door for me like a gentleman before joining my side again.

"oh! t-they have m-my h-ham and cheese bagel" he says with a bright smile, going over to quickly grab a tray and place his food item on. i smiled too at how cute he was, then going to get what i usually get, a croissant and small coffee.

"they do baby don't they?" i grin kissing his cheek, a dark red blush forming on his cheeks before he looked down.

"go get a seat for us and i'll pay okay?"

"b-but i want to pay" he frowned, my heart melting at how adorable my boyfriend was being. "no-uh" i shake my head with a smile.

"you payed the last time..and the time after that..and that. oh! and the time after THAT" i said with a giggle before waving him off to go sit down, which he obeyed but with a huff.

"hello will this be all today?" the guy behind the counter asked as i nodded, taking out a $20 bill and handing it to him, already knowing the price since we always come here.

"i'll take a small chai latte too, please" i add.

"of course, anything for the beautiful lady" he grinned with a wink making me knit my eyebrows together, i couldn't help but feel uncomfortable inside.

"can i get your number?" he asks out of nowhere when he finished with my drink, handing it to me while leaning towards me ever so slightly.

"i..i actually have a boyfriend" i mumble like it wasn't obvious, he literally saw me walk in hand in hand with ethan.

"what? that loser you came in here with?" he asks again in disgust, giving ethan a glare making me bite the inside of my cheek.

"fuck off, but thanks for the coffee" i smile in annoyance before taking our tray and bringing it over to the table ethan had picked out.

"b-baby" he whispers with a frown and i hum, sitting next to him in the booth since he liked my presence close. his shaky hand rested on my thigh, his face burying into my neck immediately.

something he either does when he's jealous or just wanting to cuddle. and i'm guessing since what happened, it's jealousy.

"eth everything's fine" i giggle pulling him away, cupping his soft face and kissing his lips. then i start cutting up my food, plopping a piece in my mouth.

ethan just nodded, but his hand left my thigh and his arm wrapped around my waist, bringing me a little closer as he began to eat.

"i love you" i whisper knowing that makes him more soft and comfortable. he gave me a shy smile, giving me another kiss making me giggle, "i l-love you too."
