『grayson's pov 』 i was woken up by y/n kicking my side harshly and gasping for air. at first i didn't know what to do but curse from the hit, but then i saw her crying and immediately went to comfort her.
"shh baby it's okay, it's okay" i whisper, holding her in my arms as i rocked her slowly. she just cried in my chest, blurbing words i couldn't understand.
"what happened, beautiful?" i ask brushing my fingers through her hair, feeling a little sweat that was on her forehead.
her sobs had subsided but she still had some tears staining her rosy cheeks.
"i-i had a dream, y-you cheated on me" she cried making my heart break. i rubbed her back to calm her down and just held her close.
"you also..h-hit me"
"i hit you?" i asked quietly with shock. she just nodded, biting her lip as it quivered. i know it was just a dream but it still got to her, my baby.
"princess i'm so sorry, i would never in a million years cheat on you. or hit you" i assure her but i think she already knew that. i've never laid a finger on y/n.
"i know" she whispers snuggling into my chest, letting out a sigh.
"also" she sniffles looking up at me through glossed eyes, "sorry for kicking you."
i let out a dry chuckle, making her softly smile as i shake my head, leaving a kiss on her head.
"it's okay baby" i chuckle, cupping her face and leaving another kiss on her face.
she just nodded slowly before letting out a yawn.
"let's get back to bed baby" i whisper and she nods again, letting me lay back before holding her body against mine.
"i'm sorry for waking you up.."
"it's okay" i assure with a smile, just wanting her to feel safe now. she smiled back before laying down and resting her eyes, her breathing getting slower.
"goodnight princess"
"goodnight" she yawns snuggling closer, soon falling asleep peacefully. i stayed up a little, playing with her hair and just holding her.
"goodnight my love, goodnight" i whisper one more time before resting myself, holding the love of my life in my arms. ♛ a/n- okay i had NO idea on how to end that😳
