Thousands years ago a great war was fought between Human and the then Vampire King Satan. In ancient Vampire kingdom, humans were reigned, tortured, forced into slavery and drained to death to satisfy the thirst of blood. Then the human kind revolte...
"Ahhh..." he makes a sound of satisfaction while tossing the unconscious body to one corner. He wipes the blood from his red lips and looks at the huge but loyal creature standing in front of him,
"Thank you Zorar, I feel alive now"
The giant bat bows his head to the voice, " I am at your service at anytime, my lord"
The pale figure wears a evil grin and says, "I was sick of those sea waters, I was craving real blood so bad !!"
"I apologize, I couldn't arrange real meal for you", Zorar replies lowering his gaze.
"Oh don't... I did survive because of your loyal clan. If you all can't fly over the magical barrier, I would have fallen asleep for eternity", his voice sounds softer.
"To be honest, we had a deal with Emperor of the ocean, Onew", Zorar spills the secret to his lord.
"Is it? what deal?"
Zorar meets the red eyes of his master, "they will provide food for you and the vampires won't ever intrude the ocean. He doesn't care about our enmity with humans"
His master lifts a eyebrow, he is surely amused with the information, "....till this date I thought my slaves are endangering their lives for their master, but turns out that I am living on someone's pity", his voice turns rough.
Zorar immediately bow down to apologize, "No my Lord, No ! Not pity but your fear, your fear makes them help us"
The bat can still hear the sound of angry breathing of his master, he can't dare to lift his head and to face him.
"Fear? you say? if they were that scared they would not dare to make a deal?", he snickers, 'they are asking too much price for water, not even blood "
The beast in front of him, is still kneeling down on the ground, in silence.
"Why did you agree? you could have easily crushed their pride, Zorar?", the master demands to know.
"I didn't want to take any chances", the loyal beast replies humbly.
"What risk??"
"The mermaid Emperor Onew claimed that, their forefathers knew the secret of your defeat and hid it in the ocean, the mermaids helped the human in the past but they realized how selfish and greedy human race is !!! That's why they did not do away with the vampire clan completely. They didn't want the human race to be the most powerful", Zorar stops and notices the frown on his master's face.
He then politely requests his master, "My lord, right now, to gain your full strength is the utmost priority, then you can conquer the land and ocean both . She is going to step into her twentieth year, next month, she is going to gain her full power, we need to get her, alive"
"How? what should I do now? We can't cross the border. Can you bring her here?", he roars in anger.
"I apologize my lord, but I can't cross Blue Forest and reach Greenland within one night and we are too vulnerable, when exposed to daylight. My powers also are curbed down beyond the border. However my Lord, if she crosses the border, the spell will be broken. You drank blood tonight, the moon is also in full bloom, it will make you more powerful. Go out of the cave and call her name, she will only answer to your call"
"What's her name?"
"Princess Jeong Yeon", Zorar follows his master and comes out of the cave, under the moonlit sky, " if your voice leads her up to the blue forest, I can bring her to you"
"Princess Jeong Yeon", the bloodsucker hissed.
Blue Forest
The forest is not dense here, to Prince Jimin it's not even a forest, may be a garden. The difference of topography is clearly noticeable from here, the prince has failed to fall asleep and come out of his tent. Everyone of his small troupe, is tired and asleep after hectic journey of four days. Tomorrow they will reach the border and enter Greenland.
Jimin sighs in relief, the journey on the plains will be much easier than hilly dense jungle. His real mission will start after that, he grabs the Greenland sword, belted on his waist and whispers,
"I will find you"
He suddenly feels a strong wing and the surrounding has gone darker for an instance. When he sees the moon again on the sky, he realized that a big shadow just passed by him, Jimin instantly looks up to the sky and once he spots the thing, he mounts on his horse and starts chasing it without wasting moment.
After a long flight, Zorar decides to take a break in the forest. He chooses a strong branch and hangs his body upside down. When he is about to close his eyes, he hears the sound of galloping horses. Soon, a man appears on the horse before him.
Zorar smiles and calml says, " Go back you little kid, I am too tired to eat you"
"You monster !!!", the man screams, " you took my brother, you killed him !!! I am going to kill you"
Zorar laughs, " Oh little human, I am so sorry for your loss. Honestly, I have killed so many little mites like you that I don't even remember the number. Anyway, if you don't want to join your brother in afterlife, just go away right now"
In reply the man pulls out a sword instead, and Zorar lands on the ground from the tree, flapping his giant wings, ready to fight.
"Leave him, he is the prince", a familiar female voice distracts both of them and when they follow it, they find the lady in black robe and mask , on a black horse.
Prince Jimin recognizes those green eyes instantly, they are more beautiful under the bright moon, looking straight at the giant beast in front of her.
The giant bat scoffs, "I am a different kind of beast my lady, you can't tame me. But I am here to take you, please come with me"
As he flaps his wings again the whole forest shivers and prince Jimin tightens his grip on the Green sword.
