Choices and Consequences

She carefully opens the box and looks inside, the shining thing inside the box draws a satisfied smile on her rosy lips. Clising the lid of the box, she puts back it in the drawer but that's when the familiar voice inside her head whispers,

"It's a sin"

"Shut up"

"You are betrothed
to the master"

"I don't even know
who he is!!!"

"You know in your
heart"

"Go away, leave me"

"I am you.
How can I leave you?"

"Go away you witch"

"Stop thinking about
another man or
I have to kill him off"

"NOOOOO...."

Princess Jeongyeon screams out loud, clutching her head, which is now throbbing in pain. Tears flow down her pale white cheeks, lips starts trembling in fear. She doesn't know what's happening to her but she is changing, changing to a monster, she is scared, scared of herself.

"Jeongyeon, what happened?", the elder princess finds her little sister in a disheveled state, at the corerof her room.

Nayeon runs towards her immediately and hugs her weak body, rubbing her back she asks again,
"What happened sister?"

"I don't know", Jeongyeon breaks into sobbing, "I got scared".

"Of what?"

"I don't know". Princess Jeongyeon still doesn't know what exactly stops her everytime to speak about her condition to Nayeon. Her elder sister is the most closest person in the world but the monster inside, always prevents her to spill the truth. She feels that giving away her secret will heavily compromise with her life. Ofcourse her vague reply is not at all convincing to Nayeon, still the elder princess refrains from asking the already troubled younger princess. She keeps on patting her back with a deep frown on her forehead.

"Hey, may I come in Princess?", a shrill voice from the door, grabs the attention  of both the Green Princesses.

"Oh yes, Soyeon, what is it?", Nayeon asks her friend while Jeongyeon sheepishly wipes her tears.

"Ahh.. princess, a friend of mine from overseas came to visit the palace. She is a psychic, if you both are interested...", the daughter of General Chae, Soyeon trails off and waits patiently for an answer.

The elder princess has been  contemplating her sister's condition but the youngest speaks up, "sounds fun, we are coming".

When Nayeon looks at her, she flashes a forced smile and says, "let's go Unnie, let's see our fate", Nayeon can see how dead her eyes are !!!

Both the sisters come at the garden, where Soyeon is sitting with that foreign girl, the psych. She is really beautiful but dressed like a witch. As both princess arrive, she respectfully bows to both and introduces herself, "I am Mina"

"Nice to meet you Mina ssi, please take your seat", Nayeon asks as they both take their seats too.

"So you are gonna read for us?", Jeongyeon asks curiously, to which Mina replies in a polite voice, "I can only make you aware of the options that the life may throw at you but the choice is yours at the end"

" Do we even have choices? They say we are all destined", Jeongyeon mumbles unmindfully.

All the three other woman stare at the youngest princess curiously, as it's rare for Jeongyeon to be this serious.
