Warming Blaze

Land is exceptionally warmer and brighter than the sea, especially when the sun is up. Now that she has learnt how to stand and walk, Sana has been trying to discover her surroundings little by little. Land and it's residents are not as despicable or ridiculous as they have been professed in Araza, otherwise she may have been dead by now. Thanks to that man, Kim Tae Hyung, she could make it this far; thinking of him brings back the memory of his warm embrace and the sincere promise of protecting her at all cost. Not even in Araza, in her homeland, anyone ever vouched to protect her like that. The mere reminisces of that day fills her heart with warmth and make her cheeks blushed, without realizing a smile appears on her pretty face.

"Why are you smiling here alone?"

The question knocks her out from her dream, bewildered Sana looks at the questioner with widened puzzled eyes. The eldest Green princess is standing right in front of her, with a sullen face and crossed arms.

Sana bows to her, "How may I help you Princess Nayeon?"

"I have been calling you since five minutes and you are lost in your own world !!", the princess retorts in ire.

"I apologize princess", Sana bows again, this time bending her spine a bit more. She bites her cheeks and tries not to react to the insolence. Honestly, it's not easy for her to act like a maid, when in reality, she is a princess, in fact far powerful than the fragile Green princess, who is bossing her around at present. But she has chosen this fate herself, to fight the wrong, to save her homeland, to save her family.

"Anyway...", Nayeon clears her throat before speaking,"You will be at Princess Dahyun's service for today, her personal maid fell ill"

"As you say, my princess"

Looking at her lowered head and daunted expression, Nayeon feels a little guilty for being too harsh on her. After all, she is new here. The palace must be fascinating and enthralling to her, yet she finds this new maid a little weird !!

"Follow princess Dahyun to Royal Guest quarters"

"Yes Princess", Sana takes her leave at once, to follow the order.

Nayeon stares at the girl intently, until she disappears on the other side of corridor. The elder princess always has her suspicions regarding the appointment of this new girl, Sana. She knows it's Jeongyeon's doing, she has joined her under her recommendations, when there was no requirement of royal maids, at all. Then what was the need of this special recruitment?? She has already become a topic of gossip in the palace, if someone pulls out the card of favouritism, Jeongyeon will have to answer none other than but the queen herself.

"Princess Nayeooonnnnn..."

"Unnieeeee...."

Hearing the two concurrent voices , she looks down from the corridor of second floor and spots Taehyung and Jeongyeon, waving their hands from beneath. Laughing at their childish antics, the princess descends to the ground to join them.

"The White Prince is really handsome too", Taehyung announces, as soon as princess Nayeon steps her foot on the ground.

Jeongyeon giggles and Nayeon rolls her eyes, "Did I ask?"

"It's going to be a tough decision princess", the green commander teases the princess again.

"Shut it Taehyung and Jeongyeon what's  with the new maid?? That girl Sana?"

Jeongyeon chokes on her laughter, at her sister's unexpected query, she quickly exchanges a glance with Taehyung whose face fell pale instantly, at the mention of that particular name.

Coughing hard, the younger princess counters, "Why? What happened?"

"She is.....weird !! Haven't you noticed?"
