True to his words, indeed. Sabay kami pauwi ni Shaun ngayon. I clearly know that he has training for basketball but i think he didn't attended for us to be together after class.

"Hindi ba may training kayo?" i suddenly asked when crickets enveloped our ears.

"Uh, yeah." simple niyang sagot.

"Bakit nandito ka? Baka hanapin ka niyan. I don't mind, though."

"It's alrigh-"

"It's not. Basketball is your passion, i clearly know that. You don't have to let it go just so you could be with me. If this is about yesterday it's fine, I know you want being there." i cut him off.

"But i want to be with you more." he utter the words with finality and with the glimpse of shyness.

"Oh."

I searched for words but I was a backed with what i heard. I felt my cheeks became hotter than usual, it feels like it turned bright red.

"Thank you. I really appreciate this simple gestures of you." i said when i can no longer suppress the feeling of gratefulness.

He smiled at me.

"So... Aside from reading books, ano pang pinagkakaabalahan mo sa bahay?" he suddenly asked.

"Hmm, apart from it, i like watching vlogs from YouTube. I aspire to be one of them but nah, i don't think i could do it." i said.

"I think you should push that aspirations."

"Yeah, next time. If may time. Mas gusto ko kasi gumawa ng sarili kong novel, gusto ko makagawa ng sarili kong book in this life time and make it feasible for me to publish it nationwide... It's kinda impossible but I'd like to give it a try." sunod sunod kong sabi.

"Got a lot of dreams huh?" he said mockingly.

"Yeah. Ikaw ba? Apart from playing basketball, what interests you most?" diverting the topic to him now.

"Hmm... nothing much. But i want to be a doctor or an engineer someday." he said.

"Oh? You like Math and Science?" i asked.

"Yeah, just like you."

"You knew?" a bit confused that he is aware of my favorite subjects.

"Of course. Everyone in the campus knows that you are great with almost everything but few people know your favorite subjects." ngumisi siya at medyo napailing.

I chuckled shyly at his expression of me being great at everything but he's unaware that he's too. "Seems like you're stalking me huh, Mr. Zapata?" i laughed and stared at him mockingly.

Napailing na lamang siya.

Shaun Zapata isn't just known for his looks, he's a man known with a pretty face but hindi lang iyon ang maipagmamalaki niya. He has this broad shoulders and fine muscles that are in their right places which boys at our age and his rarely have. His built is manly, hindi katulad ng mga payatot na lalaki sa age namin. He's good at his studies especially at Math and Science. He's the rank 2 of their batch. I adore him so much because he knows how to prioritize his studies over his games... games with basketball and games with his girls.

He's great at basketball... I've watched him play a lot of times and he never fails to show me how great and passionate he is to do his things.

But I've seen him flirt and played with girls, too. And i think, he masters that move. He knows how to make girls fall for him, oh even he doesn't make any move, any girls would fall for his chinky eyes, red lips, humor and his brain. Bonus nalang yung pag babasketball at katalinuhan niya,lalo na ang pagiging mabait niya.
