<Paige's P.O.V>
I kept my eyes closed, not wanting to see what horrors Madelyn had done to my face. I bet she was giggling or squealing or making any type of obnoxious noise in her mind. I felt her eagerly turn my body to face the little mirror on the edge of the cosmetics stores counter. "Open your lagoon colored eyes Paige and check out your new and improved look. Not too bad if I do say so myself." I sighed smiling softly then fluttered my eyes open to see that it was indeed a new and somewhat improved look as Madelyn had stated just seconds ago. My pale skin was a bit more soft toned looking with a hint of a glow, I had black mascara on which made my eyes pop with the help of cotton candy blue eye-shadow and darker blue navy eyeliner, dark toned lipstick and my nails painted pink and blue. "Wow.." My sister spoke proudly. "And we got a discount." I stared at my reflection in awe then turned to her quizzically, a playful smile adorned my face. "Madelyn..my beloved younger sister.." "Yes?" I absentmindedly stuffed my hands in my jeans back pockets. "..Wh-Why do I look like the princess of bubble gum?" she raised an eyebrow and shook her head at my pop culture reference. She then raised her head to look at me assuringly. "That particular make-up is meant to rejuvenate and intensify the hidden beauty in your skin." she finished, a proud smile on her face. "D-Don't you mean my natural beauty?" I asked as we headed to the exit of the store. "Uh..no. Saying natural beauty would imply that you're either slightly more attractive than me or equally attractive as me..and as we know I am the pretty, cheery one in this sister-ship and you're the decent pretty, shy and timid one in the relationship..with a bit of a crazy side to you as well, but you get what I'm saying." I looked forward as we were headed to the exit of the mall and softly mumbled.."Not really, but alright." we stopped at the curb of the sidewalk when she flipped her shimmering brown hair back and began speaking again. "Now that we've had our fun..how about I tell you about your family?" I looked at her a bit surprised by her question then immediately smiled lightly. We walked across the cross walk, heading back home since it was now 10:00 pm. I admired the gorgeous night sky with the stars littering the cloudless sky as Madelyn began to inform me of what little research she found regarding my blood relatives. I let my star gazing come to an end and glanced at Madelyn, tilting my head as my lips formed a small smile. "Okay, so..after all my hard tech work I found out that the family consists of a mother, her three children and a dog." I looked forward, my smile still present on my face. "The youngest is Sofie Bennett, then Jamie Bennett and the eldest..Y/N Bennett. She's eighteen like you. And-" I cut her off getting a little excited about who's my actual blood relative. "D-Do you know where they are currently l-living?" I glanced at her hopefully right as we conveniently arrived at the front of our home. She looks to be holding in a squeal as she nods quickly. "They live in a little town called Burgess. I think an airplane would be the quickest mode of transportation." She trails off as she gradually made her way to the house. I followed suit eager to figure out what she's hiding. I look at her expectantly then watched as she dramatically spun around, facing me while holding a plane ticket in between her fingers. "Am I the best or what?" "Are these?" "A straight flight to Burgess girl!" I giggled and squealed along with her as we hugged each other happily. "You are the best. Th-Thank you you weirdo." I joked as my eyes began tearing up. I sniffled and wiped my eyes giggling softly after we pulled away. "So, wh-who's my blood relative?" Her facial features suddenly changed to that of one who feels upset. "Madelyn? Wh-What's wrong?" She inhaled deeply then exhaled and removed her hands from behind her back and put a necklace around my neck. It was silver and at the center of the jewelry was the word 'believe' in beautiful cursive. "Even though we're not biological sisters..I always believed that we were..so I bought you this necklace today while Chrissy was working on your hair." This was the most serious she's ever been since I've known her. "Madelyn..thank you." I embraced her tightly hearing her voice soften. "Paige...your blood relative is Y/N."
