<Y/N's P.O.V>

The embrace seemed to last a while. After we pulled away from each other she looked at me with teary eyes. "A-Are you going to cry, sis?" She shook her head giggling then apologized. "I-I'm sorry. I-I've always been a bit of a crybaby. Th-There's one fact you now know about me." The pinkette giggled again, this time me doing the same. "It's cool. I live with Sofie the wild clumsy child. I'm used to crybabies." I joked as she smiled. "I-It's nice to be here. This place i-is homey." I nodded in agreement then tilted my head to the side, my H/C hair lightly falling in my face. "How..exactly did you get here? We don't have cabs like New York. Did you teleport here? Cos' that..would be fudging awesome." I smiled goofily. "A-Actually, I-I sort of biked here." I tilted my head back up looking at her curiously. "Wait, you rode a bike all the way to our house? Huh, good exercise actually. Seriously though?" The pinkette smiled sheepishly at me then rubbed her arm. "Oh, uh..I-I see where you can find that confusing. Well, I-I..I mean. L-Let me just show you." She motioned with her hand for me to follow. I walked to the front door with her and watched as she stepped aside from the window. My curiosity got the better of me so I glanced out the window. "No freaking way.." I looked to my side seeing a faintly blushing Pixie as she smiled. "Yes way." I looked back at the motorcycle in awe. "H-How did you even pay for that?" "Well, m-my foster father is sorta rich and he let me keep a card.." She held a credit card in between her fingers as her blue/grey eyes sparkled a bit. "And..wh-what's mine is yours, sis. Any time any place..we can go on a shopping spree. Th-That is..if you'd like to." I tore my eyes off of the motorcycle outside then squealed a little, embracing her in another hug. She yelped at my sudden action then hugged back happily. "Coolio! Best day ever. Oh.." I pulled away and held her by the shoulders. "And we're defiantly taking your beautiful mode of transportation. A.K.A your motorcycle." She smiled. "O-Okay.." "And, before you ask..yes I do have my driver's license." She nodded then I got an idea as Jamie and Sofie came down the stairs, ready to have a fun snow day off school. Pixie spoke up "I-I was gonna ask..." she looked between us, her pink curls swishing slowly. "I-Isn't it a-a school day?" I seen Jamie stifle a giggle. "Here we have 'snow days' when school gets canceled because of the weather. I'm..guessing you didn't get much cool weather where you're from?" She smiled nervously, fidgeting with her backpack strap. "N-Not really..No. Not too often did we get cold temperatures. It's kinda funny. I actually prefer cooler temperatures." Sofie hopped off the bottom step and surprisingly didn't collapse after landing. "Great! Then you can play outside with us! We have this awesome pond at the back of our house. We like to hang out there. Wanna join us? You can meet my friends too! They'd be excited to know we've got one more Bennett in the neighborhood! Can she, Y/N?" Jamie pleaded with his big puppy eyes he knew I could never resist. "Of course she can, you dork." I ruffled his hair. "Yes!" He exclaimed then ran to the back door to get his friends. "Small community?" I nodded. "Mhmm! It won't take long for you to get to know and get used to everyone. I-I think..I think you'll really like it here. You'll fit right in with these weirdos." I smiled sticking my tongue out slightly, holding the peace sign up. She giggled. "I'm sure I will."

Me and Pixie were hanging out by the frozen pond behind our house. "Jamie's friends are pretty cool. I think he likes Pippa." I looked at Pixie giggling. "I know he does! He's in denial." She giggled next then pulled out a pack of Juicy Fruit chewing gum. "Want a stick?" I snorted and took the gum she was offering. "It sounds like you're my drug dealer." I laughed then began speaking in a funny voice. "Eh, yo, you want a stick of some trippy juicy fruit?" She leaned on the tree that we were near giggling so much I swear she was going to choke on her own gum. "W-We're definitely related." She gasped for air then calmed down after a few seconds. She tucked a pink strand of hair behind her ear then glanced behind me as she blew a bubble. I looked back and saw Jamie with Caleb and Claude. "Hey, dorks. What's up?" I asked as they walled over to us, well Jamie walked while Caleb and Claude stumbled because they were fighting an imaginary battle between each other. Jamie looked up from his book with bright eyes and asked eagerly. "Wanna check this out?" Pixie chewed her gum thoughtfully then questioned Jamie. "Wh-What's that book about lil' bro?" I turned my head to give her the 'you shouldn't have asked that' look. "I'm glad you asked Pix. It's a book full of unimaginable creatures and mysteries of the world." Pixie pushed herself off the trunk of the tree and walked past me to follow a cheerful ranting Jamie. "Well, that's one way of bonding with him. H-Hey! W-Wait for me! What happened to never leaving family behind, huh?" I caught up to my little group of misfits and giggled along with them. I looked over to Pixie. "Pix, you know..y-you remind me of a modern styled Princess Bubblegum. You..know the show Adventure Time, right? Cos, if not I've got to catch you up." I just got a giggle in response. "Wh-What? Wh-What'd I say?" She popped her gum then shook her head smiling. "N-Nothing." I shook it off and we continued to listen to Jamie read his book aloud to us along with some facts and opinions he'd point out here and there. He'd also asked for comments and/or questions. "You could be an author or a teacher someday, JJ." The little brunette boy just grinned at me then quickly went back to his previous task.
