<Pixie's P.O.V>
Location~ Burgess, Airport
My eyes fluttered open as I gasped. I attempted to steady my breathing as I recalled fragments of the odd dream I just woke from. "P-Pixie? My name's..Pixie.." I mumbled quietly to myself. "Miss?" I realized I was the only person left on the plane that wasn't an employee then turned to where the females voice came from. Recognizing her as the attendant who offered me a neck pillow hours ago I awkwardly stood from my seat and tucked a curly pink lock behind my ear. She smiled sweetly at me. "We've arrived to your destination. You are scheduled to land in Burgess, yes?" I quickly nodded. "Y-Yeah..yes I-I-I am." After my confirmation she curtly nodded then side stepped, allowing me to step into the aisle. I gently held my galaxy designed backpack's strap after slinging the one strap over my shoulder. I stepped out, making sure my red and black diamond Beats headphones were securely around my neck. Before finishing my walk down the aisle I turned to face her one last time. "I-I'm sorry if you were waiting on me again. Th-Thank you for your patience and kindness. This being m-my first time on a plane, t-the service was wonderful." She replied with a warm 'You're very welcome'. After giving her a soft smile I exited the plane. My smile soon faltered. Looking around the busy airport I gulped lightly, feeling my anxiety go up. The last time I had high anxiety was during high school. I began to walk cautiously and somewhat awkwardly through the people who made up the crowd. "Oh man..c-come on, Pixie. You can do this. Just keep walking..like Dory says..just with no swimming involved. Heh, Madelyn would've pointed out my pop culture reference j-just then." I stumbled through the crowd nearing the exit as I played Dorys catchy little song in my head.
<Y/N P.O.V> Location~ Burgess, Bennett residence
"Come on, sweetie! She'll be here any minuet!" I groaned and quickly tamed my H/L H/C hair down before styling it. "I know! You said so two minuets ago!" I shouted back downstairs. "I know!" She shouted in response, a hint of giddiness in her voice. "I'm just excited!" I smiled at my mom's whimsical excitement then checked my outfit out in my full length mirror. "Just keep calm. She's your sister..you can do this, Y/N. You got this." I stared at myself calmly, a small smile graced my features. "You got faith." The doorbell rang, successfully interrupting my little self pep talk then as I expected my mom squealed and called for me to rush down to meet the girl who's supposedly my long lost sister. "Y/N she's here!" "Mom!" I giggled as I stood on the last step of the stairs. "I know. I'm aware of my surroundings. I heard the bell. I-I'm not deaf." She shot me a playful smirk then ushered me to come forward. "Enough from the queen of sarcasm alright. Come on, come on. Go to the living room with Jamie and Sofie and keep hold of Abbey. We're not sure how your sister will react to her. She may have a fear of dogs." She smiled at me, taking a breather then went back to the door, leaving me with JJ and Sof. "Y/N? Are you okay? I think mom's more excited than you are." Jamie looked at me from his spot of the floor, waiting patiently for an answer. I gave him a small smile and walked over to him, sitting on the edge of the couch while grabbing a secure hold of Abbey's collar. She stayed still, as if sensing the importance behind being held by the collar. Her tail wagged at a slow pace as I gently pet her to keep her calm. I spoke softly to Jamie as I did so. "I'm fine, Jamie..trust me. I'm excited just as equally if not more than mom is to meet my long lost sister. And, guess what?" Jamie looked at me with his wide eyes curiously. "What?" "I bet Easter this year will be even more fun with a new family member in the house. Don't ya think, JJ?" His eyes brightened as his smile widened. "You think she's a believer, too?" I smiled with him and nodded, hearing mom open the door. "H-Hi..y-you must be Ms. Bennett." I heard a soft toned voice come from the front door, reminding me of Fluttershy from 'My Little Pony'. Yes, I know MLP. I just watch it when Sofie has her turn with the TV, but admittedly it's not that bad for a kids show. My mom then spoke. "Hi! Welcome to our home, Paige! We're very happy to have you here." "I..I-I go by Pixie. My name's Pixie..." Pixie? Sounds faintly familiar, but it's kind of a unique name. Abbey wiggled in excitement as she heard a new voice and whimpered, wanting to be let go to greet the new stranger like the friendly, sociable dog she is. "H-Hang on, Abbey. You'll get to meet her soon. Don't worry girl." I patted her head reassuringly. "Th-Thank you so much for allowing m-me into your home Ms. Benn-" She was cut off by mom. "No, please. Call me mom. I insist, uh, Pixie. Gosh, such a unique name. Sounds mystical." Hearing my mom snort I held back a giggle. "Well, would you like to meet the rest of your new family?" "O-Of course!" Hearing light footsteps I suddenly felt a bit nervous, because of this my grip on Abbey's collar loosened and before I could grab her, the large dog ran towards my sister. "Oh!" I heard her gasp as Abbey jumped on her, causing her to fall. "Abbey!" Mom scolded as I raced over to grab her, embarrassed. "Oh my gosh, I'm so so s-sorry." I thought she was crying from the fall for a moment until realizing she was giggling due to the slobbery greeting from Abbey. "Th-Thank you." She thanked Abbey before mom dragged her off the girls body and into the back room that lead to our back yard. "I'm so sorry. I swear I did not mean to launch her at you." I giggled nervously just noticing her exotic hair color. "Cool hair!" Jamie spoke up as he ran to stand beside me, extending his small hand for Pixie to shake. "Jamie Bennett. Nice to meet you!" She smiled sweetly and shook his hand. "Pixie..Trust. N-Nice to meet you too, Jamie." He smiled brightly and held Sofies hand as the toddler shyly stood beside him. "This is Sofie. She's shy around strangers at first, but she'll get used to you! Say hi to our new sister, Sof." Jamie encouraged her. She glanced up at Pixie with her green eyes and shyly greeted her. "H-Hi.." I bent down to look at Sofie in a sisterly manner. "Hey, Wh-Why don't you go get ready to play outside with Jamie and his friends? I'll sing you a lullaby later if you do." She giggled and hopped up and down. "O-Okay." I smiled then looked to Jamie, giving him a nod. He seemed to understand then poked Sofies shoulder. "Tag! Come on, Sof!" She happily chased after him up the stairs to their rooms. I stood back up to my full height and gave Pixie a small smile. "Welcome...home." She smiled warmly and embraced me. I couldn't help but feel as if a piece of me was missing and now..it's not.
