<Y/N's P.O.V>
I watched Jack franticly rummage through the tooth boxes with fear. I whisper-yelled to him, trying to get his attention with Baby Tooth. "Jack! Cut it out before-" The area suddenly got a bit darker as I looked around worriedly. I looked back to Jack and seen Pitch's looming shadow right beside him. "-Pitch..finds us here." I trailed off as I witnessed Jack quickly spin around to blast ice at Pitch. I looked around the area for Baby Tooth, but I didn't see her anywhere. "Baby Tooth?!" I spun around, my eyes darting from one direction to another so I can see if she's alright so that I could then go help Jack. Not seeing her anywhere I inhaled and exhaled, exasperated. "Shit!" I looked back towards where Jack and Pitch were, and widened my eyes seeing Jack dart off after Pitch, pretty much leaving me defenseless. Looking up, I figured I could try to set the mini Teeth free. "The ability to fly would've been great, Manny." I looked around, hoping to find something useful..when my idiotic self realized I could have used my mind to set them all free by now. "Nice, Y/N. Leave it to me to be the hero who saves the world at the very last minuet." Raising both my hands out in front of me, I took a breath then closed my eyes and.. "Open says me." Half of the cages opened, allowing the mini Teeth trapped inside to start collecting the children's tooth boxes and quickly flying them back to their rightful places in the Tooth Palace. I giggled, proud of myself and happy that I could help. "Yes! Now.." I turned to the other half of the cages, the rest of Tooth's fairies trapped inside and flittering with joy, awaiting their release. "..your turn." A smooth accented voice made me abruptly halt my actions. "I don't think so, my dear." My breath hitched as I came to realization. If Pitch is with me, where's Frosty? I slowly lowered my arms and cautiously turned to face him. Before speaking, I cleared my throat, not that it helped. My voice still came out slightly shaky. "We-Well, half of Tooth's fairies are safely back home a-and with what looks to be.." I glanced behind me, then turned back to Pitch, concealing any ounce of fear I had, standing my ground. For once, I feel like I have a purpose to be here on this Earth. Even when I was in my state of depression, I always had a purpose, I just had to have faith. "..the uh, majority of the teeth." His smug face contorted into a murderous one. He glared at me and I just smiled at him. "You won't win, Pitch. I'm sorry, but...that's just how it goes." He chuckles, mockingly. "Why? Because you have "faith"? Please, my dear Y/N.." He began to walk around me as he spoke, my eyes watching his every move. I mean, come on, it's Pitch. "..don't you think the people in the Dark Ages had "faith", thinking that things would get better some day? The thing that you protect in children..doesn't exist. People constantly get hurt and lose all the faith and trust that they had in the beginning. That's just how it goes. You're not a Guardian. Not really. You're just a silly, lost little girl." I stared down to the ground, his words sinking in. I closed my eyes and took a breath. "You're..you're right, Pitch." I looked up at him, narrowing my eyes. "People do often lose their faith as well as their trust. It's called being human..which you are not. What I protect has existed for years..a-and..and as long as I'm around..people will always have the choice to have faith and..or..trust. I'm a Guardian. And you, Pitch? You're nothing..you know, you probably could be something better, if you didn't prefer to stay in the Dark Ages, you neanderthal." He looked taken aback for a second. "How's that speech, for a silly, lost little girl? I'll accept and admit to the silly part of your little description of me, but the rest is freaking bullshit. You may not see it yet, but you're going down, Pitch." I finished, crossing my arms as I held his stare. Hiding the fact that my heart was racing and I was totally surprised at myself for the speech I just gave to Pitch. He smirked devilishly and glared at me. "We'll see." Pitch suddenly disappeared, I looked around trying to ignore my fear. His tall, looming figure stood before me as I gasped, not expecting him to reappear so close to me. He smirked down at me, enjoying seeing me quiver with fear, I assume. I was frozen in place as he reached a hand to my face, I quit shaking and just stared at him, paralyzed by fear. He caressed my face, then trailed a bony index finger and thumb down to my chin and roughly forced me to look up at him. I accidentally let out a whimper. My colorful eyes stared into his golden yellow orbs fearfully. "I would say sweet dreams, but you know..not really my kind of thing." Next thing I knew I fell unconscious, surrounded by only darkness.
