Jack glanced at Y/N and Pixie then turned around. "All the more reason to pick someone more qualified!" The girls turned away from the globe and walked closer to the group to participate. "Pick? Y-You, you think they pick Jack..?" Pixie asked, a soft smile on her lips. Y/N looked at her sister curiously, "Wh-Who picked us then?" North and the other Guardians stepped up. "No, you were chosen like we were all chosen. By Man in Moon." Jack turns and looks to the group, staring dumbfounded. "What?"  Y/N's eyes widen while Pixie smiled knowingly. "The moon really was freaking talking to us.." Y/N said, dumbfounded as well. "I..I-I can't believe I was right. No twilight zone for us." Y/N giggled then nodded while leaning towards Pixie. "No insane asylum for us!" Pixie grinned at her. "Last night Jack, he chose you, Y/N a-and Pixie." Tooth smiled at each of them, then Bunny spoke up, lifting a finger. "Maybe." Y/N gave him a look as did Pixie, but then Pixie looked to the ground. A time ago she had depression but recently got through it, however she still feels like she'll never be good enough for anyone or anything. Y/N knew this too, had been gone through the same depression as her sister, but Y/N got through it a while ago. She knew it still lingered with her sister. Placing a hand on her shoulder she removed it then looked at Bunny. "I-I'd watch what you say, grumpy kangaroo." He stared at her, his ears back and his mouth agape. Before he could respond, Jack continued as Pixie looked up visibly upset about something and seeing this, Bunny felt he was the reason. He looked at her with apologetic eyes, but her attention was on Frost at the moment. Bunny sighed, thinking he screwed up. "The Man in the Moon, he talks to you?" "H-He spoke to us, too!" Pixie pointed out, then seen Jack's face and quickly apologized. "S-Sorry, hon." She stood awkwardly, as North looked at the trio with hope and pride. The moon's light floods into the room almost magically. "You see, you cannot say no. It is destiny." "I never would've thought I had a destiny." Pixie quietly giggled at her sister's ridiculousness. "What? What'd I say this time, Pix?" "N-Nothing, nothing..sshh.." She hushed Y/N, her giggles trailing off and faded. Jack is visibly confused, Pixie knows he's wanting to know what it all means. "But why, why wouldn't he tell me that himself?" He exhales, exasperated. "After three hundred years this is his answer? To spend eternity like you guys cooped up in some, some hideout thinking of, of new ways to bribe kids? No no, that's not for me. No offense." Y/N giggled quietly. Jack turns to leave, the Guardians look stunned, except for Bunny who is relieved by this turn of events and looks to the others. Pixie stepped up, beginning to walk to Jack. "J-Jack..I-I don't think-" Bunny interrupts her, attempting to keep her from getting any closer to Frost. "How, how is that not offensive?" Pixie turned to look at him nervously, sensing he was about to start an argument or a fight..or both. "You know what I think? I think we just dodged a bullet. I mean, what's this clown know about bringing joy to children anyway?" Y/N was about to defend Jack, but she seen the look on his face and thought he could take care of himself. Jack turns to Bunny, a little pissed. Y/N blushes and turns away for the hundredth time. Pixie watched Jack and Bunny closely in case she'd have to use her powers to keep them from killing each other. "Uh, you ever hear of a snow day? I know it's no hard-boiled egg, but kids like what I do." Y/N spoke up without hesitation. "I-I mean..I-I'm not a kid, b-but I like what you do too.." She looked at him shyly. He smiled at Y/N as Bunny stood to his full height from crouching down then began walking towards Jack. Jack looked back to Bunny, visibly annoyed. "But none of em' believe in you." Bunny leans in to Jacks face. "Do they? You see, you're invisible, mate. It's like you don't even exist." Y/N whispered to her sister as Pixie just watched warily. "Yo, that was way harsh. I-It's getting intense..sh-should I say something?" As Bunny leaned back and away from Jack, satisfied with the reaction he got from him, Tooth glared at him. "Bunny! Enough!" Silence. Jack tries not to look stung by this. "No, the kangaroos right." Y/N covers her mouth to keep her giggles in. Bunny glares at him. "The, the what? What'd you call me? I am not a kangaroo, mate." Bunny walks towards Jack, glaring. "Oh. And this whole time I thought you were. If you're not a kangaroo, what are you?" "I'm a bunny. The Easter Bunny. People believe in me." Y/N was about to give Bunny a piece of her mind, but Pixie grabbed her arm. She looked back at her confused, Pixie shook her head. "Don't." Y/N sighed sadly, seeing the hurt in Jack's eyes. She wanted to run to him and hug him, then never let him go, let him know he's not alone. Jack sensed eyes on him and looked over to the girls, then looked away embarrassed. He did not want them seeing him in a state of weakness, especially Y/N. Sandy nudges North, who acknowledges the tension in the air. North looks to Jack. "Jack. Walk with me." Before turning to walk out of the room with Jack, North turns to the mortal girls. "You two, do not go anywhere. Will be right back." The girls nodded simultaneously, then the H/C haired girl stated. "Yes sir." She did a little salute then North and Jack were gone. Y/N turned to Sandy, bending down slightly with her hands on her knees, smiling at the little golden man. "N-Nice save, Sandman." He smiled at her as a wisp of sand morphed into a hat, in which he tipped it to her communicating 'Thank you'. Y/N giggled lightly. "Y-Yeah, g-good job, Sandy." Pixie smiled at him then turned to the tall pooka, who was already looking at her. She'd read his mind right now, had she not been focused on something else, anger..and slight sadness. The short, pink haired girl walked towards Bunny briskly, slightly glaring at him as she spoke. "You rude, egotistical Aussie.." His eyes widened and his nose twitched, not expecting to hear what she just said. He didn't move as she stood just inches in front of him, much like how he was previously with Jack. At the moment, the height difference between them didn't bother her. She leaned towards him on her tippy toes, her arms crossed below her chest, her eyes showing a mixture of emotions. Y/N and Sandy off to the side, watched intently. Tooth was back to directing her fairies around the world. "Wh-What the hell is wrong with you? Y-You..you think i-it's okay to say shit like that? You do not know Jack..y-you are not i-in the right stature to talk down to him like that. Never talk to someone like you know them b-because you don't. I don't care i-if, if you're the President of the United States, or, or of royalty or the Easter Bunny..y-you ever speak to him like that again.." Pixie's hands and part of her forearms were engulfed in her maroon energy. "I promise you, mate, you'll regret it..oki?" Bunny stared at her, speechless. She began to blush faintly as he snapped out of it and looked as if he was holding his breath. He chuckled nervously then smirked down at her, attempting to hide his emotions. "Sheila, you don't wanna fight a rabbit. Especially not one like me." Her anger had faded as did her confidence, and now she looked up at him warily, her face reddening even more. She refused to let him win even though she felt like jello under his enchanting green eyed stare. "W-Wanna bet, Thumper?" He chuckled then gripped her gently by her arms that were now pinned to her sides, and moved her to the side, setting her on her feet. He stepped back a bit from her, crossing his arms, the same smirk on his lips. "You're a funny one, sheila." She was the one speechless now, her face as red as North's coat. Bunny enjoyed seeing her flustered. Pixie knew this, and it only worsened her shyness and made her crush harder on the pooka. "Y-Y-You are so lucky I-I'm too kind." He wanted so bad to do things to her he knew he shouldn't. He cursed quietly, wanting to share his feelings with her, but was unsure how he'd go about it. Y/N spoke up suddenly. "Tooth! Pix! W-We need to talk to Tooth, d-don't we?" Pixies eyes widened in realization. "R-Right!" Pixie walked past Bunny quickly, avoiding eye contact in fear of getting a nosebleed or something embarrassing like that. Her and Y/N walked over to where the human-humming bird hybrid was hovering and ordering her fairies around the world still. "M-Must be a year round job." Pixie nodded, while Y/N thought happily 'Maybe winning Jack's heart won't be so hard after all. She may look stunning, but she works constantly. Plus, she's not completely human like I am. I have everything and so much more than she's got.' "U-Umm..T-Tooth? Can, c-can we speak with you?" No response. Y/N just shrugged. "H-Hey Tooth Fairy! We need to spea-" Y/N stopped shouting then turned to her sister. "Yeah, sh-she's not gonna hear us." Bunny just chuckled, amused. Y/N turned to him, her head tilted. "O-Okay, Easter kangaroo, yeah..y-you need to chill. I-I've had just about enough of you. You, you ware me out. J-Just chill." Then turned back to stare up at Tooth. Bunny grumbled and glared at her, whipping out a boomerang. Before he could react, it was pulled out of his grasp smoothly. "Huh?" Pixie was staring at him with a soft facial expression, her arm extended, his boomerang in her hand. He chuckled half-heartedly. "Alright, very funny. N-Now, now give it back, sheila." "D-Don't ask me..Y/N took it from you w-with her mind. Sh-She just gave it to me because sh-she thought you'd hurt her." He looked to Y/N, annoyed. "Mate, may I have my personal property back?" "O-Of course Bunny!" Pixie started to hand it to him, but Y/N stopped her by grabbing her arm. Pixie squeaked then looked at her sister oddly. "Y-You can have it back..once you get rid of that little ego of yours." "What?" Bunny asked a bit peeved. Pixie giggled then twirled his weapon in her hand. "W-Well, little's n-not the word I'd use." Y/N smiled at Pixie's comment, "Y-Yeah, I meant to say big." Y/N took the weapon from her sister's hands. "H-Hey." She ran off with it then Bunny zoomed off like a rocket after her. "You don't wanna race a rabbit, sheila." A mini Tooth noticed Pixie, they exchanged smiles then it got Tooth's attention. "Tooth..Manny said..y-you could help us. M-My sister and I." Tooth stared at her for a split second then nodded in understanding. She turned to her fairies and said, "Y/N Bennetts and Pixie Trust-Bennetts teeth, thank you." As soon as the words left her mouth the mini fairies were quick to act. Seconds later they were back, handing Tooth two golden containers with familiar faces on the ends. "Whoa.." Pixie heard her sister beside her. She looked over curiously. "Wh-Where's Thumper?" Y/N pointed behind them to a grumbling Bunny, playing with the previously stolen boomerang of his. Pixie nodded, "Don't..don't mess with him again, o-okay sis? Please?" Y/N giggled. "I-Is that jealousy, Pix? It's the accent isn't it? Y-You always said to me how big of a sucker you are f-for guys with accents. Especially, Australian hunks!" Y/N intentionally spoke a bit louder to gain Bunny's attention. Pixie gulped and blushed brightly. "K-Keep your voice down y-you maniac." Tooth smiled, seemingly amused by this topic. "Here, these belong to you." Pixie smiled at Tooth gratefully, taking her container from her. Y/N then took hers, giggling while pointing at her picture. "I-I never looked like that in my life." Pixie giggled and snorted. "Y-Yeah? Oki, sis." She shook her head, and lightly pressed on the center of the object and Y/N did the same, bright eyes widening.
