"So, what's the purpose of this party again?" you asked as Natasha and Wanda came in with a pair of shoes and a dress for the Stark party. She also held a bag with curling irons, straighteners, brushes, hair spray, and nail polish.
"We'll explain while we do your hair and nails," Wanda said.
"Is all this necessary?" you asked, gesturing to all the supplies.
Wanda and Natasha gave each other considering looks. Finally, Natasha spoke up.
"Yes, for multiple reasons. One, Wanda and I do this together all the time. It's a tradition. Second, you've never had your hair or nails done; it'll be fun. Third, when you're always on the job and you never know what will happen next, you might as well live life to the fullest. Finally, you never know what will happen at one of Stark's parties; this just makes it much more fun and interesting."
You had to agree to all of her statements. "Fine. What first?"
"Well, because pretty much all of the higher-leveled SHIELD members will be here, you should look nice and make a good impression. But we also need something easy for you to fight in, but needs to be formal at the same time," Wanda said.
"Also, Nick Fury will be there," Natasha added.
"Eye-patch guy?" you asked. It all seemed kind of stupid.
"Don't underestimate the guy," they both said at the same time.
Point made.
"So what do I wear?" you asked.
"This," Natasha said, gesturing to a short black and gold dress.

"How is this going to be easy to fight in? Besides, it'll show my scar way too easily."
"Well, it's loose by the skirt, making it easy to fight. Also, pro-tip, we have shorts that you can wear underneath in case you do need to fight. And Tony will be too drunk to notice the scar. You'll be fine."
"Well, what about these?" you asked, pointing to light, pale lines that traveled across your arms and legs.
"Where did you get these?" Wanda worried.
"It's fine. I believe that's just a side effect of the super-soldier serum. Shoes?" you asked, trying to change the subject.
"Ok, these are going to look super painful, but they're going to feel fine and look great on you," Natasha insisted.
