"And yeah. That's the story," you told the Avengers at the breakfast table the next morning.
Everyone sat in silence, giving you the eyes of sympathy.
"And the reason I didn't tell you was that I knew that this would be the reaction I'd get out of you guys," you said, frustrated, gesturing to their faces.
"So you're telling me that you operated on Thor and made the solution and you've never gone to school?!" Tony freaked out.
"I've gone to school, but not ever since my parents died. 5 years ago," you exclaimed. "But the problem is that every passing day results in me forgetting something about them. Now that I know about HYDRA, I may know why. But I need proof. And Tony," you continued, looking at him. He looked back at you with his fancy glasses sliding down his nose. "I want a lab."
"What?!" everyone asked at once.
"I think I've proved myself worthy," you said, crossing your arms, "not only did I complete an operation, but I fight well and make a serum that works great, but has now gotten into the wrong hands," you finished, glaring.
"Is she really worthy, though?" Thor mumbled under his breath, but know one said anything back to him, though Thor did get a few glares.
"Okay, I agree with most of what you just said," Tony admited. You looked at him confused. How had you not proved yourself? "It's just that I've never seen you fight before. You may have been able to fight well, but how do we know that you'll win?"
The rest of the Avengers nodded their heads, finally agreeing on something, though Clint and Steve looked more hesitant.
"How about we spend the day in the gym?" Natasha suggested. "We don't have to worry too much about anything. Let's take the day off."
"I'll just stay in the lab and see if there's a way I can fix that burn," Bruce said, gesturing to Thor's arm. "I don't want anyone getting hurt."
As much as the group wanted to protest, everyone nodded their head. You gave a sigh of relief. At least you had one less thing to be worrying about.

"Alright let's do this!" Clint exclaimed excitedly. He leaned over and whispered into your ear, "I'll get you this time. Don't feel bad if we all crush you."
"I highly doubt that'll happen," you grinned, and he gave you a pat on the back. Honestly, though, it was mostly just fake confidence. You against ever single one of the Avengers? These guys had handled the world's biggest threats.
"Hope the party hasn't started yet," Tony said as he blasts down the door. Everyone glared at him as fire came out of the feet and the big iron suit comes to a land.
"Wait, you're not actually gonna fight wearing that, are you?" you asked, biting your lip.
"Listen kid, you're never gonna see me in a fight without this baby," Tony said, flexing his red and gold suit.
"You'll be fine, (Y/N)," Steve assured. "You're a natural."
You tried not to worry, but how could you not? These were the Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
"Alright let's start," Natasha said, tired of all the chatter. "We should probably have (Y/N) fight us easiest to hardest so she can warm up."
"So it's between Clint and Sam. Rock, paper, scissors you two. Can't have the pro waiting to long!"
You could tell by his voice that he meant himself. Everyone rolled their eyes.
"Before we even do rock, paper, scissors," Sam told Clint. "I'm just gonna say that you should go first since (Y/N) has trained with you before."
