"So, Tony, we never cleared this up," you started, walking into the lab with a breakfast bar in hand.

"Cleared what up?" Bruce asked as Tony gave himself a facepalm, knowing exactly what you were going to say.

"Am I technically an Avenger?" you asked.

"You made (Y/N) an Avenger?" Bruce asked, looking at both of you for clarification. You both shrugged. You didn't know the answer and Tony knew the answer but wasn't able to admit it.

"Yes, (Y/N), you're an Avenger," he sighed. "But don't start celebrating. We have work to do."

"Fine," you whined, crossing your arms. But you couldn't help but show that you were a little excited.

You were a flipping Avenger.

But Tony was right. Four days from now, HYDRA would be strolling down the streets of New York, and you couldn't afford to mess it up. Again.

"We need to know more about the serum," Bruce stated.

Confusion rippled across your face. "What? Aren't you two the science bros? This is supposed to be your forte."

"Yeah, but you have it in you, so..."

You threw your breakfast bar on the counter. "All I know is that when we created the serum, HYDRA got a hold of it, and something about the SKH gene makes it not destroy me. That's all I know. Besides, we can research my gene after  the battle, when we're not pressured for time."

"Fine. We need to upgrade everyone's suits if we're going to be able to survive their ultra-killing bullets."

"I can make some weapons," you offered. You wanted to kill some HYDRA butt.

"Seriously? That doesn't seem like you," Stark said.

"I can be whoever I want to be whenever I want to be it," you snapped back. "Besides, HYDRA has upped their game, so we have to up ours. Bruce, do you have any of that bullet shrapnel that I got shot with the other day?"

"Yeah, but why?" he asked.

"If I can make some similar bullet, we might have an upper hand," you stated.

"Let me grab it for you," Bruce offered, searching through the many counters like a maze.

"Sweet. JARVIS, I need Peter Parker and Shuri in my lab pronto," you told JARVIS.

"(Y/N), you realize that Shuri is halfway across the world," Tony reminded you.

"How is that a bigger problem than the battle we're going to have in a couple of days?" you asked.

Tony shrugged and got back to tweaking everyone's suits.

~~~~~~~~~~
"You better not be tweaking (Y/N)'s suit!" Shuri exclaimed as she walked through the lab doors. Due to Wakanda's modern technology, Shuri made it to New York in no less that one hour.
Tony put his hands up in surrender, backing away from your suit.
"What are we working on?" Shuri asked as you led her into your lab.
"This," you started, pointing at the blueprints, "is what I think HYDRA's special bullet looks like. I want you to help me recreate it. Not only is it not affected by the serum, but it is 3x as deadly. A HYDRA agent won't be able to recover from this."
"How would you like me to help?" Shuri asked, excitement dancing in her eyes.
"I need you to help me build it. I don't know what the best supplies are to build this," you admitted.
Shuri frowned. "I'm not the greatest in chemistry, I do more of the techy stuff."
"Which is exactly why I invited him," you smiled, gesturing to the door. You had to wait a couple of seconds before anything happened. Finally, Peter Parker walked through the door.
"Ayy, Peter!" Shuri smiled, walking over to him as they both did some sort of weird handshake.
"How, how come I'm not in this?" you scoffed, slightly offended.
" We will teach it to you after we defeat HYDRA. Someone said they needed help with the chemistry aspect of things?" Peter asked.
You grinned. "Yup. Peter, you need to concoct something that won't dissolve the bullet casing I'm working on designing, but it still needs to be deadly. Shuri, could you work on the actual guns?"
Shuri gave a thumbs up from the corner. "I'm already working on it."
"Sweet. Now before we become brain dead, I'm gonna go make some tea."
~~~~~~~~~~

"What are you doing?" you asked Steve as you turned on the tea kettle.

Steve sighed. "I'm trying to see if there are any accidental clues or hints HYDRA left in this video clip they sent."

You sat in a chair across from him. "You realize that it's only a 30-second clip, right?"

"Yeah, but..." Steve hesitated.

"Play it again. Let me listen to it," you suggested.

"Seriously? Are you sure you won't freak out like you did last time? No offense."

You shook your head. "I'll be fine."

Steve replayed the video, and you couldn't help but shiver at their voices. Still, you did your best to try to pick up every single hint.

Then it hit you.

"Steve," you said, looking at him straight in the eye, deadly serious. "I think they're going to try to recreate the incident with Ultron and Sokovia."

"What?" he asked.

"They have a small part of the serum, and they mentioned how destructive it is. They also mentioned Ultron. Can you imagine? If they put it in the center of New York, too much power or elevation or impact could cause the whole city to explode."

"That's... not good," Steve said, biting his tongue to hold back some nasty words. Ultron was bad; you could see the event flash in his eyes. But this could be so, so much worse.

"We have to call in all the Avengers. We can't hold off this battle any longer. No more waiting, no more distractions. We have to end this. We can't sacrifice or risk any civilians life," Steve stated.

You nodded. "I'm working with Shuri and Peter now. But I agree with you, we need everyone here. Now."

"The earliest I could get everyone here is by tomorrow," Steve sighed.

"Better start making some phone calls," you said, pouring some tea into cups.

Steve picked up his cell phone and began to dial the first number.
