Epilogue

"Thank you, Miss Spitfire," the officer thanked, shaking your hand. The rest of the Avengers were taking care of some other stuff.

"What, no thanks for me?" Tony asked, shocked.

You laughed. "I'm the favorite now."

You and the Avengers had just taken down a small terrorist group. The mess wasn't big, all you guys had to do was take them down.

You gave Steve his shield back. "Thanks for letting me borrow this."

"Just because we have the serum doesn't mean we're immune to bullets. We gotta help each other out," he replied, adjusting the shield on his back.

Peter swung in, landing next to you and Cap.

"Can we have a movie now?" he begged.

The whole event with the random terrorist group had happened kind of fast. As soon as your plane had landed back at the Avengers' tower after the press conference, Fury sent you out on a mission. It was a good thing everyone had slept and eaten on the ship.

"Yes, please," Wanda jumped in. "My feet need a rest. Stark, you're going to have to design a suit for me that doesn't have heels."

"Alright. You guys good here?" you asked the officers.

They nodded, tipping their hats in thanks.

"Race you, Cap and Bucky!" you yelled, beginning to sprint towards the tower.

"Oh come on, I wanted the cheese popcorn!" Sam complained as you passed out the buttery popcorn.

"Yeah, and I wanted the caramel popcorn," Tony added.

"You eat the popcorn I made for you, got it?" you scolded, shoving some of the buttery popcorn into Tony's hands.

"Are we seriously watching Star Wars again, Peter?" Tony whined.

Peter got ready to go back to the home screen on Disney+ when Natasha stopped him by placing her hand on his shoulder.

"Tony, you complain one more time on our family movie night, I taser you," Natasha warned, encouraging Peter to go back to the Star Wars movie he chose.

"This is your first family movie night, isn't it?" Steve asked.

"Well, before my parents died, we used to --"

"No, no, no," Thor interrupted. "You're a part of the family now. The Avengers family. This is your first one with us, right?"

"Oh, yeah. You're right."

Thor brought you into a bear hug, lifting you off the ground. Who would have thought he was one for hugs?

Who thought Tony, Sam, Steve, Natasha, Peter, Wanda, Clint, Bucky, and Bruce were into hugs? you thought as the rest of the Avengers joined in.

Well, Peter and Wanda made sense.

"Welcome to the family, (Y/N)."
