"What are you looking at?" I ask amber as I entered my room with snacks
She was laying down on my bed looking at a magazine.
"Looking at a prom magazine. I need to start looking for a dress." Amber replied
I rolled my eyes "are you serious? Prom is like next month."
"Yeah we need to start looking now or all the good dresses will get taken. People are already getting asked." She said
I threw the snacks at her and sat on my bed "we?"
She sat up "um yes we you are going to prom okay this is not going to be like homecoming you understand me. It's your junior prom plus you've been nominated for prom queen so you have to go!
"I don't even know why I was even nominated." I said truthfully
"Well your awesome and pretty but that's just two things."
"I'm not either of those things.."
"Yes you are stop it!" Amber said
"Whatever I'm not going to win anyway so what's the point."
"Not with that attitude." She said
I just laughed at her
"Did you get asked yet?" I asked amber
"No but I heard around that Craig was going to ask me. He wants to get back together." She replied
"Is that what you want?" Letting curiosity get the best of me
"I mean I want to get back with him, but I just don't want to make the same mistake twice you know?" She explained
I nodded "If you really want to be with him you won't make the same mistake again and if you do that mistake again please be with someone else other than my boyfriend."
"Hey for the record he wasn't even your boyfriend at the time." Amber said
"Amber.." I growled
"Yeah yeah I know jeez."
I laughed at her.
"Well we need to find you a kick ass dress so when you win prom queen people will see that they made the right choice."
I just kept my mouth shut.

"Hey Naomi." Paige came up to me smiling big at me
"Hey." I said grabbing my books to head home
"What are you doing right?" She ask me
"Going home." I answer her shutting my locker
"Not right now your not." She told me
"And why is that?" I asked her
"Follow me and you will see." She handed me a pink rose with a note on it
I looked at it confused but I open it

My mouth was open knowing what this was. Paige grabbed my arm leading me to the parking lot that lead to the fields. When we reached it there was a line of the girls soccer team. Not all of them but most. My mouth dropped and I felt tears coming in my eyes.
I wasn't even dress for this. I was wearing soccer pants and a tournament shirt with my hair in a pony tail. We walked up to the first girl. It was Anna. She handed me another pink rose with a note attach to it. I open the note.
