Naomi mason

"You know you don't have to go." My older brother jake said to me.

He was standing in my door way leaning against the wall while I was packing my stuff for my first soccer game today.

"I have to go it's school. You know the eduction and learning stuff. Yeah I need that." I replied

"Yeah I know but with everything going on I thought you would want to just stay home a couple days and cry or something." He admitted

"Please I'm not trying to let it go threw my head. Besides it's my first soccer game today and I can't miss it. You know there depending in me."

"Yeah I know that but I just don't want you going out there and not focus in the game because of everything."

"Trust me I'll be completely focus and plus soccer relieves all the stress and takes me away from things for a while."

He smiled "well you can definitely count me there."

I got up and smiled at him "I know." I reached up and kissed his cheek and headed down stairs. Before I reached the door Jake called my name.

"Yeah jake?" I ask

"Don't completely shut Randy out. He is a good guy or at least trying to be. I understand your mad at him and don't really feel like speaking to him but trust me on this. I've heard about this kid before and he is not the guy to try this hard for a girl. He must really like you and don't give me that bullshit that you don't like him to because I know you do and I know your thinking about as he is probably thinking about you. Trust me I'm a guy and we can do stupid things but we always find a way to make amends. Just let that sink in your head." He spotted out

I looked at him stunned as I nodded slowly and headed out the door.

He was right about thinking about Randy. I couldn't get him out my mind. No matter how much I didn't want to think about him, he ended flying back in my head. What he did was low though and even though were not dating or anything it still hurt.

I really don't know what to believe at this point.

I got in my car and looked at my phone. Shit I was going to be late.

Damn you Jake mason.

I walked into school with my head held low. People were probably talking about me. It's not the first. I finally picked my head up so I didn't bump into anything. I saw Amber standing at my locker searching to see if I was here.

I growled, she is the last person I want to see right now. I guess I have to face her sometime.

I walked up to my locker not trying to make eye contact with her. I notice that Randy wasn't at his locker. Either he already went to his locker to try to avoid me or he isn't here. I reached my locker and went straight to the lock.

"Naomi please just listen to me." Amber pleaded

I ignored her focusing in on my locker combination.

"Okay don't talk then but just listen." She started "look what happened with me and Randy was an accident and a mistake. I was drunk and upset and he was just there and he was being nice to me and comforting me and it just happened. I'm not going to lie to you and say I didn't like it because I did. A lot actually. Also me and Craig broke up and I didn't tell you because I was just afraid too. I wonder why you like Randy so much. That kiss made my night and in being honest because I feel bad enough to lie to you. I just want you to stop ignoring me. Your my best friend Naomi and I'm sorry." She finished
