Three words....
Fuck the cheerleaders.
They did pranks on is but nothing extreme like this. They were taking this way to far and I wanted to get them back for this. No one and I mean no one disrespects my sport. I know I said I never wanted to get involve with all this but I think now is the time to start.
"They destroyed everything" one girl said
"The nets are cut, all the balls are popped, cones are destroyed, and the pinnies are all cut up." Ashley said almost crying
This was so painful to look at. This Monday couldn't get any worse than this. I'm speechless right now.
"We have nothing left." Anna said she turned and looked at me "what are we going to do now?"
I couldn't even answer that "I-I don't know, I guess we wait until coach comes back." I had so much anger in me
"Well we can't practice or do anything if we don't have any equipment!" Anna furiously said
"What am I suppose to do!?!" I yelled back at her "the school isn't involve with any of this. They said whatever happens there not responsible. I doubt they're going to help us! We're fucked! Your right we have nothing now! I honestly don't know what we can do right now." I sat down on one of the benches in the girls locker room. "I can't believe they just allow this to happen. They just stand there and watch us do these things to each other."
Everyone put their heads down. It was clear the cheerleaders were winning and we were powerless.
Coach walk in with a devastating look on her face. Everyone looked up and just focus on her. I got up from the bench. It was hard when you were wearing wedges.
"I'm sorry I have to break this news to you but the school is not helping us replace our equipment." She said
We all sighed
I spoke "what about the boys?"
"Same as them too. It also has been said that if we can't replace all of our equipment both the girls and the boys soccer season will be finish for this year"
"WHAT!" We all said
"They can't do that!" Ashley said
"It's so unfair" a girl name Paige said
"The football players and the cheerleaders get no punishment on this" I ask
" No they don't get no punishment for this."
"See now that is total bullshit!"
"Naomi.."
"NO! Why do we have to suffer more than they do and we didn't cause this! They get to play and we don't? What kind of shit is that? This year is a special year for us and there just going to take that all away? That's not happening! There has to be something we can do coach."
"The only thing we can do is buy everything our self but I think it is going to be almost impossible. The boys first game is suppose to be next week and ours is in two weeks. How are we suppose to get new nets by then? all we have is our uniforms that's it. I'm sorry girl" coach walked out the room.
My heart was breaking into a million pieces. I wonder how the boys were reacting to this.
"We have to get them back." I broke the silence
"How Naomi? What are we going to do. How is that going to fix anything!" Ashley said
"We can show them that we can fight back and that they are not taking this season from us! I won't give up!"
