High School Years

Nightmare's?

3rd POV
Last time we saw Ben and Mal, they were so in love. Every weekend Mal stays at Ben's place.
In one more week prom is coming up.
Ben has been going to guitar and singing lessons. Mal doesn't know about that, until she see's what Ben has in store for her, when he asks Mal to prom.
The song that Ben is going to sing has a piano, luckily he know's how to play.
It's something he picked up when he was growing up.
Belle always played the piano in her library all the time.
So, Ben being curious, he asked his mom for some lessons.
And sure enough he knows how to play.
But he doesn't tell anyone at all. But that's going to change when he plays in front of the school.
It's a Thursday night. All of Auradon is asleep.
Well except for one.
Ben's POV
*knock* *knock*
I slowly woke up and looked at my door.
My eyes squinted from the light that came through from under my door.
"Who could that be?" I asked myself
They knocked again.
I looked at my clock and it was 2am.
I sat up from my bed.
I was only wearing my boxers.
Then I got out of bed and made my way to my door.
I didn't have a peak hole.
So when I got to my door, I opened it up just a crack.
My eyes were squinting from the bright light that fled the room.
Once when my eyes got better, I saw Mal.
"Hey, what happened?" I asked worried
She started crying.
I opened my door all the way. Then I hugged her.
"Hey" as I kissed her head
"Whats wrong?" I asked
She cried into my chest.
I walked her inside my room and closed my door.
I turned on the light switch.
"Mal, are you okay?" I asked
She didn't answer. She kept crying.
After a while, I let go of the hug, grabbed her hand and gently pulled her to my bed.
She sat down and I sat next to her.
I smoothly rubbed her back, waiting for her to talk to me.
Her crying died down a bit. She sniffed and rubbed her eyes.
"I-" she said

"Go ahead. Talk to me" I said
She sniffed once again.
"I had........another.......nightmare" she hesitated
I got closer to her.
"Yeah?" I asked
She nodded slowly
"Okay. Did you want to talk about it?" I asked
She looked down at her fingers.
Then she shook her head no.
"I just want to sleep" she said
I nodded
"Okay"
I got up and turned off the light. Then I went back to my bed and laid down on my back.
"Come on. Cuddle with me" I said
She gently laid on top of me, wrapping her arms around my torso.
She rested her head on my chest.
I fixed the blankets over us.
"Ben?" she said

"Yes my love"

"Can you stay awake until I fall asleep?"

"Yeah. Of course"
I put my hand on her head and massaged her purple hair.
She relaxed and closed her eyes.
** 15 minutes later **
"Mal?" I whispered gently
She didn't answer. So I knew she fell asleep.
Knowing that she was asleep, I went to sleep as well.
Hours later...
*beep* *beep* *beep*
My alarm woke me up.
It's 6am. It's another school day.
When I woke up, Mal was still sleeping.
I didn't want to wake her up just yet.
So I very carefully took her off of me.
Luckily she didn't wake up.
I got up from bed and used the bathroom. After doing my business, I washed my face.
Then I walked out of the bathroom and turned on my lamp that was on my night stand.
I went to my closet and grabbed some clothes for school.
Then I changed.
While I was changing:
"Ben"
I turned around and Mal was awake.
"Hey, you're awake"
I went over the her.
"How are you feeling?" I asked
She shrugged her shoulders.
"Alright, I guess"
I sat on my bed.
"You know, I'm glad that you came to me early this morning" I said

"Yeah. I really needed you"
I smiled
"So, did you still want to go to school today?" I asked
She thought about it for a while.
"Yeah. I have too. I have a test today" she said

"Okay"
She got up slowly.
"Aw man" she said

"What?"
