21. There's no right or wrong here

"Hey."

"You've seen me all day, yet you're only calling me now to ask a question?"

"You didn't ask yours either."

"Touché."

"Since I came out to you, I've been wondering. What's your sexuality?"

"Ehm... I..."

"Oh, shit. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. You don't have to tell me, but I won't judge you, you know that right?"

"I know. It's not that."

"Are you still in the closet, is that it? Shit, Ella. I shouldn't have asked. Forget it."

"No, I want to talk about it, I think. I'm just not sure, about my sexuality, I mean."

"Oh."

"Yeah, I've been struggling with it. I used to think I was straight, but I've been questioning that for a while now."

"I hope I'm not pushing you. If you're not ready to talk about this, that's okay too."

"No, it's okay. I've never talked about it, but I think that's because I didn't have the right person to talk to. If that makes any sense. I didn't think anyone would understand, but I feel like you do."

"I get it. I've struggled too. I didn't know I was bi straight away and even after I came out, some people didn't understand. They told me I couldn't like both, I had to be gay or straight. It's not always been easy, but I am who I am. I think staying true to yourself is the most important. So, do that, no matter what others say."

"Thank you, Piper. I needed to hear that. It's nice to have someone I can talk to about this stuff. I feel like talking about it might help figuring things out."

"Take your time. There's no right or wrong here."

"Thank you."

"Anytime, really."

"I totally forgot what I was going to ask you. So ehm, what's your favourite movie?"

"Can I say Moana or will that make me look childish?"

"Yes. To both."

"Then so be it."

"Anyway, I really have to go to sleep now if I want to stay awake during school tomorrow."
