"Why the fuck are you calling me at eight thirty on a Saturday?"
"How many more times do I need to tell you that I have swimming practice?"
"Doesn't explain why you can't call me after that."
"Because I woke up early and wanted to talk to you."
"And it really couldn't wait?"
"You act like you aren't the one who picked up."
"Sshhh."
"Anyway, I was rereading The Notebook and I wanted to know which book made the biggest impact on you."
"Getting deep with the questions, huh? I think it's Love, Simon. Well, I actually saw the movie first, but I did read the book after that."
"How dare you?"
"I'm just going to ignore that. So, that was one of the first books I read in which the main character wasn't straight and I just really liked that. It changed my view on some things."
"I actually read that book a while ago and I really loved it."
"Hey, Ella?"
"Yes?"
"Can I be super blunt and rude for a moment?"
"You mean like you always are? Sure, go ahead."
"Ignoring that too. You said you were questioning, so have you ever wanted to kiss a girl?"
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
"Just curious. I got to go now, though. Bye."
"What, really? Bye, I guess."
"Shit, why did I do that?"
