"Good morning."
"Since when did you stop being so grumpy in the mornings?"
"For starters, I've already had my coffee. And I know what I want to ask you."
"Go ahead."
"Can you tell me more about this guy?"
"Yes, I can."
"Haha, very funny. Tell me. Like, who was he, how did you meet, that kind of stuff."
"Do you always have to cheat? That's totally more than one question."
"Suck it up."
"Fine, but only because I want to tell you. He was my neighbour. We've lived next to each other ever since we were born. We only met when I was five, though. We quickly became best friends and we were inseparable. As kids we always played with each other. His home was my home and the other way around."
"That's grossly cute."
"Anyway, when I was twelve, he moved away. I was devastated. Of course I had other friends, but Finn and I were different. We connected in a way I never felt with anyone else. We stayed in touch for a while, but lost contact after like two years."
"And you've never tried to contact him?"
"No. I'm scared, I guess."
"I think you should try it."
"Hmm, maybe. I don't know."
"Hey, since we're talking about my childhood, what is your favourite childhood memory?"
"I think it's when I first tried skateboarding. My brother would always do it and I wanted to prove him that I could too."
"Let me guess, that didn't end well?"
"You can say that. I wasn't even on it for two seconds and I already fell off. Luckily, I landed on my butt and it didn't hurt too much. My brother started laughing and I couldn't help but laugh too. After that he started teaching me."
"I can't believe that you falling is your favourite memory."
"When you put it like that, it sounds kind of sad."
"I was kidding, I get why you would choose it."
"Anyway, we've got to walk faster. If we don't hurry, we might be late."
"Shit."
