"Hi!"

"Oh god, are you going to be this excited the whole evening?"

"Probably, yeah. Aren't you?"

"I don't think anyone can get on your level, but yes, I'm excited."

"Just wait until you get my present. We'll see if you can reach my level then."

"So you've got me something good, huh?"

"Of course I did. I had to. But I know what you're trying and no, I'm not telling you anything. You'll have to wait a few more hours."

"About that..."

"What?"

"I'm going to sound like an ass, but do you want to come over early, to help me get everything ready?"

"Yeah, sure!"

"I feel so annoying for asking you this, but it's just a lot to do by myself, since my parents are gone. Plus, it'll be more fun with you there."

"Don't worry, I don't mind at all. That's what friends are for, right?"

"Thank you!"

"How many people are coming, anyway?"

"Wait, let me count. I've got you and the girls, of course, some people I skate with, some other people from school and my brother will probably come home later, maybe bringing some of his friends too. So it'll be like thirty people I think?"

"Oh, I was expecting more, actually."

"Yeah, well. I'm kind of tired of those big parties where you know no one and I don't know that many people here anyway."

"True, it'll be fun."

"So, I'll see you at eight?"

"Yes, see you later."

"Okay, bye."
