"Is... is that... me?"

I instinctively grabbed onto my face. It was me, alright.

I was jolted out of my thoughts by Charlie opening the door.

"Hey, I have your key," she said.

I was still at a loss for words. I turned to her and pointed at my reflection.

"What?" she asked.

"I didn't look like this before!"

"Oh, you must be new. Welcome to hell, you're a demon now!"

"Wow... I knew I would go to hell for what I did, but I didn't think I'd become a demon... this is kinda cool."

"Uh huh. Here," she said, handing my keys to me. "You're room is number 468."

I nodded and turned my gaze back to the mirror.

"Ew, ew." I said. I still had blood all over me. "I gotta wash my gloves, too."

I didn't know if they would dry correctly, but it was better than being matted with blood. I held my gloves up in front of my face, carefully examining them.

"Wow, it actually came off." I said.

I hopped off the stool and walked up the stairs.

'470... 469... 468!' I counted in my head as I searched for my room.

'Happy Hotel, huh? Might be worth while.'
