Chapter 8: Rules and Agreements.

The music was banging in the club. The loud music was almost ear deafening but he was used to this as he took another shot of alcohol and kept on thinking about what had happened to his day off. It was ruined!
"Come on dude! You'll get wasted and I don't want your puke in my baby again" Said a guy with chocolate brown hair and looked at him annoyed with his forest green eyes.
"Shut up.....I'm thinking" He said staring into nothing and taking one more shot, the liquid going through his throat and burning down the parts everywhere it made contact with but he was used to this feeling.
"Mr Dr Frost, I still can't believe you're a doctor! You know how harmful alcohol can be yet You drink like there's no tomorrow....at least tell me what's bothering you!" He was fed up by this behaviour, he was wondering how they were still friends?
"Will you keep quite! Hiccup, let me think!" He snarled and Hiccup went quiet, he brushed his hand in his chocolate brown hair and snatched the glass from him taking a sip and quickly spat it out, yuck disgusting!.
"At least tell me what you are thinking so I can help and not feel useless" He growled with gritted teeth, he frustratedly brushed his hands in his silver hair and turned towards the guy so called Hiccup.
"It's about a girl" He started and paused to think for the right words, he opened his mouth to continue but was cut off by Hiccup.
"Oh so Jack Frost nipping your nose is finally getting serious about a girl?" Hiccup wiggled his eyebrows, right now Jack Frost wanted to punch his face and wipe that stupid smug smirk off his face.
"Will you shut up? So I can finish...." He asked with a glare and pursed his lips tightly in reply he just nodded his head and gestured him to continue.
"She's a heart patient" He sighed frustratedly and paused again, Hiccup frowned at the words heart patient a little spark of hope that he had was gone that his friend will finally get married and have kids and be happy.
"Oh sad, but it can be treated, right?" He asked once again tiny hope was rising, Jack nodded his head, he came here to relax but that girl was all over his mind, another sigh left his nostrils and he stood up suddenly the banging music in the club was irritating him.
"Where are you going?" He stood up as well and began to follow his friend outside the club and they sat in the car as he silently drove to a quiet place and stopped the car, he needed to relax.
It was a nice place with trees surrounding everywhere by a tiny lake, the moon and stars were reflecting in the lake and water seemed to shimmer, he parked the car near the lake and sighed. Hiccup felt the tension in the air and patted his back to encourage him to speak.
"She can be treated but she refuses for the treatment" He started looking afar somewhere into nothing as he spoke, he was confused, why did he care anyways? It was just some other girl who stepped into his life just like hundreds before, then why.....?
"Why? She has a death wish or something? Or maybe she can't afford the treatment?" Hiccup tried to guess the reason behind her disagreement, Jack shook his head.
"No, her atrial Septal defect is too severe and she's aware of it, she knows that she's dying but she doesn't want the surgery, she doesn't want a heart transplant because....because she says she doesn't want someone's heart beating inside of her chest, it will haunt her forever that she took someone's precious's life or something stupid! Stupid! She's nuts!" He slammed his hands on the steering wheel and Hiccup looked at him shocked.
