Chapter 17: Responsibilities.
❄
He listened to the loud music banging in his car as he drove, he focused the rear-view mirror on himself and brushed his hand in his chestnut hair and smirked.
"Handsome as always!" He complimented himself,
Please have mercy on me
Take it easy on my heart
Even though you don't mean to hurt me
You keep tearing me apart
Would you please have mercy
Mercy on my heart
Would you please have mercy"Yes God, have mercy on my girlfriend." He mumbled to himself looking at the rear-view mirror.
He couldn't hear his phone ringing on his passenger seat because of the loud music blaring through the radio. He was returning from his girlfriend's house after having a dinner with her Dad, his day went unexpectedly well, her dad wasn't even a bit scary instead he warmly welcomed him and chatted with him. It was just awesome.
A car in the speed of light came passing by him from the opposite direction, it almost crashed into his beautiful baby. He groaned and turned off the radio, took a U turn after the yellow car that didn't even have a number plate, something about that car felt suspicious as it's tires screeched on the road.
"Teenagers nowadays! I'm so arresting these kids." He muttered and drove after the yellow car.
His sixth sense was giving him warning signals and he always believed in his sixth sense, his consciousness told him to just quietly follow the car, after at least fifteen minutes, the yellow car came to a halt. He grabbed his phone from the passenger seat shoving it inside his jeans pocket.
He parked his car in a dark shady area and came out grabbing his Beretta M9 from his shoulder gun holster, he took silent steps towards the yellow car that was parked in front of an abandoned broken building. He slowly walked towards the car and opened the front door, surprisingly the car wasn't locked. No one was inside.
He opened the back door and saw trunks in it, his brown eyes scanned the trunks and he opened one. He coughed at the disgusting smell of blood that came from opening it, his eyes widened as he looked at the body squeezed inside.
"Bullshit!" He covered his nose with his hand disgusted at the smell, he examined the girl's face and gasped. "Beatrice McGonagall." He whispered remembering the case of four missing girls. His heart beat accelerated as he opened another trunk and saw one more body squeezed inside of it.
"Marie Greene." He looked at the bloodied body and scanned the car for more, but found nothing he shut the car door and opened the car trunk.
The sudden smell of blood and dead made him dizzy and nauseous, he covered his mouth and gagged, he coughed and his migraine came back making him dizzy. He grabbed his phone from his jeans pocket and dialed Ronin's phone number.
Two bodies were tightly squeezed together inside the car trunk, he forbade himself to touch their heads with his bare hands so he could get a better view of their faces. But he knew that they were...
"Hazel O'Neil and Charlotte Clayton." He murmured and waited for Ronin to answer the call. He brushed his hand in his hair as he looked at the scary forbidden building ahead.
"Where are you, man? We've been waiting for you or do you wish to get whipped by Tara again?" Ronin quickly spoke just as he answered the call. He sighed shaking his head in frustration.
"Ronin, I-I think I've found the killer that fits our profile and the missing girls, he's a fucking Sadist, I can't talk much, just note down the details I'm telling you..." He whispered on the phone as he once again scanned the naked bodies lying in the trunk of that yellow car.
