Chapter 19: Pleasure, Satisfaction, fun.

Hiccup wiped Jack's tears with his trembling hands as his heart thumped loudly in his chest. "Let's go inside, Jack." He rubbed his back soothingly.

Jack nodded, taking deep breaths. He inhaled and exhaled through his mouth a few times before walking ahead of Hiccup with Ronin who was stealing concerned glances at him.

When they entered the hospital they saw Elsa's friends in the waiting room, her brother was sitting on a coach, silently crying with his head in his hands. Rapunzel was sitting with him, her hand placed on his shoulder as she stared into space with tears running down her cheeks.

A bulky guy with dirty blonde hair was standing in a corner, his arms crossed over his chest as he stared down at his shoes. Two girls stood in front of Eugene, Anna's hand was clasping her mouth as she shed tears while Merida had her hand placed on her forehead and her one hand on her hip and tears poured down her cheeks as well.

Jack tried his best to ignore the sight he saw and walked to the one certain senior doctor who performed Elsa's surgery.

Tadashi was standing by the coffee machine, he was holding a cup of coffee and looking into space. Jack ran into him.

"Dr Hamada, I would like to see your Patient. Miss Winters." Jack came to the point. He looked at him confused as to why he would want to see her?

"But she's--"

"Can I see her?" He repeated his question again.

"I'm a doctor as well and I don't see why I can't see her." Tadashi nodded his head, licking his dry lips and pointed towards a room down the corridor.

Jack took slow and steady steps towards the door and placed his hand on the knob. He needed to prepare himself for anything. A huge part of him knew what he was going to see, he took in a breath before opening the door and his breath got caught in his throat at the sight.

Elsa was lying on the bed looking as pale as a paper. Her left eye was black, her head was bandaid, her lip was cut and blue. Her neck was bruised of choking her. Her arm was bandaged, her arms were bruised. Any naked part of her skin that he could see was bruised.

A feeding tube was passed in her nose, an IV was in the back of her right hand. Ventilator helping her breathe. Her heart monitor making rhythmic beeping sounds.

She looked like she had seen better days.

Jack slowly walked to her bed and looked at her closed eyes. He grabbed a clip board from her side table. She was in coma, there seems to be no chances of her waking up. Zero. After a few days, they'd remove her from support and she'd die. Peacefully.

And it was all his fault.

He never thought he'd be saying such words and to her, "I'm sorry."

"I have always called you clingy and annoying. You can be clingy now too and not deciding on leaving. No matter what your reports say that there's no chance of you waking up, but I believe in you that you're a fighter. You can fight this."

Those words held so much meaning. He didn't know where to grab her hand, where it won't hurt if he touches. Her hands were purple and swollen.

His fingers gently brushed into her soft, silky blonde locks. He was feeling like his heart was going to burst from all the strong emotions. Regret, guilt, sad, fear, anger.

He took in a shaky breathe before he stormed out of the room and to Hiccup in the waiting area. "Who was he?"

"A seventeen years old boy, Simon O'Donnell." Jack was surprised to hear his age and his crimes, "He murdered four girls before Elsa."
