I was confused. "uhh are we sleeping outside"
I spoke up.

"No, just follow us" said Kairi.

I did as told and followed my new pair
of friends that seemed genuine. I was still confused but I trusted them enough. We walked to our neighbor hood and appeared on Mattias doorsteps.

"So we are sleeping in a house" I began.

"No just wait" said Alex.

Mattia opened the unlocked door to his mother cooking. "We will be in the back" he explained.

"Wait Wait Wait" his mother opposed. "Who is this little lady right here" she pointed to me.

Mattia turned around and rolled his eyes. "She's their friend now if you will excuse us."

Mattia started to lead the group outside.

"You sure she ain't your girlfriendddd" Mattias mom yelled.

"momm!" Mattia called back while entering the backyard.

The boys began to laugh and so did I. It made me a bit sad that he didn't refer to me as his friend but I guess I'll have to listen to Alex's advice and wait for him to get used to me.

There was a huge treehouse that I guess we were going to be sleeping in. It was the size of an entire room. I guess it needed to be if it was gonna fit all of us. We all settled in and started to talk. I kept catching Mattia looking at me every once in a while. I would look at him and he'd play it off like he wasn't doing it in the first place. What was this guys problem. The boys explained many things and how the town worked. Then they went on about how everyone in the town is friends except for this one pair of boys. Sometimes this baseball team (the pair of boys they disliked) would come and steal the sandlot from them. They despised them. While they were explaining these boys i had an amazing idea.

"Next time let's challenge them to a game and whoever wins takes the sandlot" I announced.

"I don't know smalls" replied Kairi.

"Come on by the sounds of it every single one of you are better then them and you guys should win not doubt" I added. The boys started to agree.

"With you on a the team now we will definitely win" said Alvaro.

"No way she's playing with us" spoke Mattia.

I just looked at him with no expression and he looked down. Everyone else started to argue with him.

"Come on Mattia she's like a female you"

"She can beat them easy"

"She'll help us win"

Are some of the things the boys were saying.

"fine okay you can play, I guess we will just have everyone laugh at us because we're playing with a girl."

The boys cheered and I was happy. Glad to know I was good at something.

The rest of the night consisted of laughter and scary stories. Until one by one everyone started to fall asleep. It was pretty late at night and only Mattia and I left were left awake.

"Can I ask you something" I decided to say after a long period of silence.

"I don't care" he hissed.

"Why do you hate me so much."

He seemed to ponder this with actual care. I could see him try to fight off what he was going to say. He failed the fight and it seemed he went with the easy response. "Don't worry about it Smalls, go to bed it's getting late."

I laid down still wanting a response but knowing i wouldn't get one.

Mattias pov
i don't hate you Smalls. Is what I wanted to say. It complicated. I don't like new people, especially when there's no reasons I should hate them. She's a really nice girl but I like to convince myself she'll ruin everything. Deep down I knew she wouldn't but I couldn't admit it to myself. So I thought maybe if I act rude she'll go away or get a hint.

I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT POSTING ANKXOSJE😭 school really got me messed up. I have so much homework. i almost forgot about this app but i didn't😎 i'll be trying to post much more but don't bully me if i can't all the time. Anyways thank you all for the support on all stories❤️❤️❤️❤️
