The rise and fall

The beginning of us is the gift of life
We rise to life with the soul God has given us
We rise with God's mercy and blessings upon us
We rise with our trust in God's hands and the hope God gives us

the rise of us is the breaking off of the barriers we place on ourselves
the rise of us is the freedom to be unapologetically ourselves
the rise of us is the self-confidence we have with ourselves when others don't
the rise of us is the ability to bounce back on our feet quickly

the rise of us is the ability to embrace and own your flaws
the rise of us is the dominance of your social perception from others affecting you
the rise of us is the feeling of contentment with having less
the rise of us is facing the face of fear fearlessly with confidence

the rise of us is knowing the sweet taste of success
the rise of us is the contentment we feel with ourselves
the rise of us is the ability to love ourselves wholeheartedly without judgement
the rise is the feeling of freedom

the fall is the inability to know when to put our needs first
the fall is the inability to feel true happiness
the fall of us is the ability to fall prisoner to our minds
the fall of us is the ability to be drawn in what's toxic

the fall of us is befriending those who are no benefit to us
the fall of us is the tendency to miss out subtleties
the fall of us is our inability to say no
the fall of us is our ability to lose hope altogether

the fall of us is letting our impulses be our drive
the fall of us is letting ourselves suffer at the expense of other's sake
the fall of us is not being pragmatic in desperate situations
the fall of us is our inability to love oneself wholeheartedly

the fall of us is not knowing right to wrong
the fall of us is to lose sight of what we can  control from what we can't control
the fall of us is our dependency on people's perception of us
the fall of us is the downs of this life and the day we return to God
